Connect the PL900S Mill Power Supply Connection on the rear using the supplied US Power Cord. Fastening screw for blank holder  Loosen fastening screw !.  Pull off the blank holder toward the right.  Clean the locating bore and surfaces.  Check the pin on the blank holder to be mounted and clean, if required.  Slide the blank holder to be mounted with the pin to the stop in the locating bore. To change the blank holder:  With the door shut, select DEPOSIT TOOL function at the operational display. The current tool is placed down. The blank holder moves to the change position.  Insert the selected blank into the blank holder.  Tighten the screws with the Allen key provided. The blank holders and tools are colourcoded depending on application. Make sure to observe colour assignment (e.g., orange tools to orange holder). Do not mix differently colour-coded blank holders and tools. 2 3 1 4 2. 1. ! Screw for holder replacement @ Screw for blank fastening # Blank holder $ Blank OPERATION OF THE MILL 1 TOOL CHANGE CLEAN THE INTERIOR (WEEKLY) If you want to change the worn out Tool – release the it from the marked slot in the holder (magneticly fi xed) and insert the new one. You can monitor the Tool Abrasion in the Tool menu. If a Tool is worn out – the Display shows „100%“ on the screen.  Press the CLEANING button.  Start the cleaing with the YES button.  Clean spindle.  Spray maintenance oil on the spindle body.  When the spindle is clean: Press the button  Press the INTERIOR button.  Open milling chamber door.  Clean milling chamber.  When the milling chamber is clean: Press the button  Clean the front side of the blank holder and the A-axis. Spray on maintenance oil afterwards.  When the front side of the blank holder is clean: Press the button  Clean the rear side of the blank holder and the A-axis. Spray on maintenance oil afterwards.  When the rear side of the blank holder is clean: Press the button Please perform the following steps:  With the buttons and select the tool to be replaced (here 4A).  Press the YES button.  Press the button  Now the machine is ready for the next job.
