Modifying the housing will void warranty terms and conditions. Tools Required Ratchet, a 3/4” socket; #2 Phillips head screw driver; 3/16” allen key; torque wrench ; drill with 7/16 bit. Wall Mount - Standard (Figure 1) For use in down lighting application only 1. Remove the mounting plate from the fixture by loosening the set screws using 3/16” allen key. 2. Loosen the lock nut from the mounting plate and detach tether. 3. Mount the mounting plate to the junction box or wall with gasket against wall and secure to the structure with fasteners (by others). Tighten fasteners to 20 in-lbs. ote: N Mounting plate must be in the upright position as specified by the label. 4. Pull fixture wires carefully from fixture. ote: N Ensure wire plug at the bottom of luminaire is in place properly. 5. Connect the supply wires to appropriate luminaire leads. ●Supply side ground wire to ground luminaire lead. ●Supply side neutral wire to white luminaire lead. ●Supply side line voltage wire to black luminaire lead. 6. Reattach tether to the mounting plate. 7. Tighten the lock nut. ote: N Tether must be able to rotate freely; therefore do not over tighten lock nut. Fixture must hang from tether, NOT from electrical wires. 8. Slide the luminaire mounting bracket over the top lip of the wall mounting plate to hang the luminaire. Hold luminaire in place while allowing the back surface of luminaire to rest against wall. 9. Allen head screws must be captured behind lower beveled edge of mounting plate to ensure luminaire is secure. Press luminaire firmly against wall and re-tighten the two (2) set screws to secure the luminaire to the mounting plate. Figure 1. Adjustable Pole Mount Arm (Figure 1.) 1. Loosen (3) hex head screws located on arm mounted on back of the luminaire and carefully set aside the cover plate and the screws. 2. Align the two arms and route the wires from luminaire through the slot of pole side arm. Note: Ensure the luminaire supply leads do not get pinched between the two arms. 3. Adjust the angle as needed for aiming. Note: Do not tilt the luminaire more than 60 degree above horizontal. 4. Slide the lock washer and flat washer onto (1) 1/2-13 grade 8 bolt. 5. Install the bolt through the hole of pole side arm and tighten into the housing side arm. Tighten to 40 ft-lbs. 6. Route the wires through the wire tie provided in the pole side arm and through the wire hole of pole side arm. 7. If installing to round pole use round pole adapter provided at this point. If mounting to square pole disregard the round pole adapter. Make sure round pole adapter draft matches the back side of the arm properly. 8. Remove pole top cap and place aside. 9. Install luminaire with arm assembly on the pole with nut plate provided. 10. Slide lock washer and flat washer onto the (2) 1/2-13 bolts and install the bolts from inside the pole side arm through the optional round pole adapter and into the holes of the pole into the nut plate. 11. Tighten (2) 1/2-13 bolts to 40 ft-lbs., while making sure pole side arm is level to the pole. 12. Make splice connections per next steps while using the cable clamp provided in nut plate to dress the wires as needed inside the pole. 13. Connect the supply wires to appropriate luminaire leads: • Supply side ground wire to green luminaire lead. • Supply side neutral wire to white luminaire lead. • Supply side line voltage wire to black luminaire lead. Figure 1. 14. Use (5) 8-32 hex head screws to install cover plate with gasket onto the pole side arm. 15. Reinstall the cover plate on the housing side arm with (3) hex head screw. CAUTION Failure to install this plate could cause damage to the arm. 16. Replace pole cap after completion of luminaire installation and wiring.
