This luminaire must be installed in accordance with the NEC or your local electrical code. If you are not familiar with these codes and requirements, consult a qualified electrician. USE MIN. 90°C SUPPLY CONDUCTORS for 120-277V luminaires and USE MIN 75°C SUPPLY CONDUCTORS for the 347V luminaires. DO NOT carry or lift luminaire by safety cable or wireform. Safety cable and wireform are only for supporting luminaire while making wiring connections. JUNCTION BOX MOUNTING NOTE: “J” Input Power Designator comes with safety cable only. “A” Input Power Designator comes with a safety cable or wireform. STEP 1: WITH SAFETY CABLE ( A or J Input Power Designator) Locate the safety cable on the luminaire and attach the cable to the designated screw hole on the mounting plate using the provided screws. See Figure 1. WITH WIREFORM ( A Input Power Designator For hands-free wiring locate the wireform on luminaire and attach it to the clip on the Mounting Plate. See Figure 2. 4 Mounting Plate Wireform Safety Cable STEP 2: WITH SAFETY CABLE ( A or J Input Power Designator) NOTE: Ensure to install mounting plate to junction box using the two screws holes on the mounting plate that are diagonal to the safety cable. See Figure 1. NOTE: Two people may be needed for installing to junction box, one to hold the luminaire and another to install the mounting plate to the junction box. Attach mounting plate to customer supplied junction box with the clips on the Mounting Plate directed parallel to vehicle traffic as shown in Figure 3. Torque to 20 in-lbs. See Figure 3 and 4. WITH WIREFORM ( A Input Power Designator) Attach mounting plate to customer supplied junction box with the clips on the Mounting Plate directed parallel to vehicle traffic as shown in Figure 3. Torque to 20 in-lbs. See Figure 3 and 4. Safety Cable Safety Cable Screw Hole Use these 2 holes for mounting to junction box. SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE BIRD GUARD MOUNTING STEP 1: Bring both halves of the bird guard together around the pendant as shown in Figure 1 and 2. Make sure that the flanges go under the non flange sides This is needed for proper securing of the screws in the next step. NOTE: There is one flange side on each half of the bird guard. 1 2 Flange

STEP 1: WITH SPLICE INSPECTION TETHER Locate the Splice Inspection Tether on the luminaire and attach the cable to the designated screw hole on the mounting plate using the provided screws. See Figure 1. STEP 2: WITH SPLICE INSPECTION TETHER NOTE: Ensure to install mounting plate to junction box using the two screws slots on the mounting plate that are diagonal to the Splice Inspection Tether. See Figure 1. NOTE: Two people may be needed for installing to junction box, one to hold the luminaire and another to install the mounting plate to the junction box. Attach mounting plate to customer supplied junction box with the tabs on the Mounting Plate directed parallel to vehicle traffic as shown in Figure 2. Torque to 20 in-lbs. See Figure 2 and 3. STEP 3: Make wiring connections per “Electrical Connections” section. 3 Mounting Plate Splice Inspection Tether Splice Inspection Tether Splice Inspection Tether Screw Hole Use these 2 slots for mounting to junction box.
