Verify that the system is wired in a Three Phase Star configuration (fig. 5) and that the voltage rating of the system matches the voltage rating of the SPD as shown on the label. If the Neutral to Earth voltage is greater than 5 VAC, then a problem may exist in the electrical system. The SPD may be installed; however, a qualified person should be consulted to correct the problem. B. The SPD must be connected to the Panelboard via a 4 Pole 63A MCCB and adaptor. If the board is compartmentalised then the appropriate compartment kit is required to segregate the 4 Pole MCCB. (needs to be ordered separately) SPD MOUNTING POSITION There are two positions for the SPD. Position 1 is in the panel board (fig .1 & 2) and Position 2 is in the cable way (fig.3 & 4). 1. As standard the SPD is mounted in the panel board on the RH side for the shortest possible wire installation. The 4 Pole NZM1 must be fitted on the FIRST outgoing way to minimise the connecting wire lengths. The SPD status indicators can be viewed through the window in the inner cover and an auxiliary contact is provided for external monitoring. Align the Module to the bottom of the Panelboard and fix together with provided screws: 4 x M6 screws and nuts; 8 x external tooth washers on either side of the joint to break the paint for earth continuity. 2. Fit the Shunt Trip provided to the incoming MCCB. 3. Fit the terminal block assembly (Fig.1) to the Panelboard. Using the DIN rail as template, mark the position of the 2 fixing holes. POWER SUPPLY TAP OFF FITTING EM4PBVT Fit the DIN rail before mounting the fuse block. For Incoming Meter Pack always fit the fuse block on the LH side, otherwise the fuse block can be fitted on either side of the pan. Feed the cables through the grommet and position to suit the breakout in the top busbar removable shield. Replace the shield and ensure the grommet is captured in the breakout. Press: ”E “ for 3 seconds to toggle from Auto to Manual mode. (Stops screen scrolling). IMPORTANT- Do NOT perform ‘Left Hand CT Mounting Phase Correction’ in Meter Operating Instructions. The meter phases L1, L2 & L3 are setup for the CT to be mounted on both the RH and LH side of the board. Press + keys together for 3 seconds to enter configuration menu. 2. To enter default password 1000 - Press then press . Press 4 times to move on and to enter CT primary page 04. 3. Press to select the digit to change and press or to raise or lower the CT value. Set to 250, 400, or 800 to match CT. 4. Press to save settings and move on. 5. Press + keys together for 3 seconds to exit configuration menu. METER TYPES EPBMETER1 – Modbus/Pulse. EMC3PP2P1 – Multi function MID with Modbus/Pulse. Note: 1.
