Carefullyexaminetheproductfor damage,missingpartsorforeign objects.Removeanyforeignobjects priortouse.Theproductshouldbe replacedIMMEDIATELYifthereare anydamagedormissingparts.If necessary,usetheMeteredDose Inhaler(MDI)aloneuntila replacementisobtained.Ifthe patient'ssymptomsworsen,please seekimmediatemedicalattention. Removecap(s) fromtheMDI andchamber (ifapplicable). ShaketheMDI immediately beforeeach useasperthe instructions suppliedwith theMDI. Insertthe MDIintothe backpieceof thechamber. Follow instructions suppliedwith theMDIon howlongto waitbefore repeating steps3–6as prescribed. Putmouthpieceintomouthandclose lipsaroundittoensureaneffective seal.TheFlow-Vu®InspiratoryFlow Indicatoronlymovesifthepatient hasagoodseal. INDICATIONS FOR USE Thisproductisintendedtobeusedbypatients whoareunderthecareortreatmentofa physicianorlicensedhealthcareprofessional. Thedeviceisintendedtobeusedbythese patientstoadministeraerosolizedmedication frommostpressurizedMeteredDoseInhalers. Theintendedenvironmentsforuseincludethe home,hospitalsandclinics. MOUTHPIECE LARGE MASK LARGE MASK MOUTHPIECE BreatheoutgentlyanddepresstheMDIatthebeginningofaslowinhalation.Usethe Flow-Vu®Indicatortoassistinthecoordinationofthismaneuver.Breatheinslowlyand deeplythroughthemouthuntilafullbreathhasbeentaken.Holdbreathfor5–10seconds, ifpossible.Otherwise,keeplipstightonthemouthpiecetomaintainsealfor2–3breaths aftertheMDIisdepressed.SlowdowninhalationifyouheartheFlowSignal®Whistle sound.Administerone(1)puffatatime. Ensurepartsaredrybeforereassembly. Toreassemble,centertheAlignmentFeatureonthe BackpiecewiththeFlow-Vu®Indicator,asshown.
