FLUFFY SECURITY SYSTEM AND BANK requires 4 x 1.5V "AA" or "LR6" batteries. 2. The battery compartment is located on the bottom of the unit. 3. Open the battery compartment door on the individual unit by unfastening screw with a universal Philips® screwdriver (ILLUSTRATION 1). 4. Remove discharged batteries if necessary and insert new batteries according to the diagram provided in the battery compartment (ILLUSTRATION 2). 5. Close the battery compartment door and fasten the screw. WHEN TO REPLACE BATTERIES Change the batteries when the Fluffy seems to be slowing down during play, or when pressing the trap door button on the front of the unit and response time is slow. To ensure proper function: - Do not mix old and new batteries. - Do not mix alkaline, standard or rechargeable batteries. - Battery installation should be done by adult. - Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. - Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being charged (if removable). - Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision (if removable). - Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used. - Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity. - Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy. - The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited. WARNING: DO NOT DISPOSE OF BATTERIES IN FIRE, BATTERIES MAY EXPLODE OR LEAK. To activate fluffy in this mode, simply press the trap door. - Put the activity selector on Alarm Mode. When in alarm mode, Fluffy will be consistently on alert. The light, depositing money into the bank or pressing the trap door will set off the alarm. - Move the activity switch to Play Mode. In this mode, Fluffy will be on guard for 3 minutes. If one on his sensors is not triggered within this time he will go into sleep mode. Press the trap door to reactivate. TRY ME MODE ALARM MODE PLAY MODE TRY ME MODE PLAY MODE ALARM MODE PLAY MODE TRY ME MODE ALARM MODE TO REMOVE COINS Open the coin compartment on the bottom of the bank by turning the plug counter-clockwise an eighth of a turn and pulling. Return the bank to the upright position and GENTLY shake the bank. Once you have removed the coins, replace the coin compartment plug by aligning the tabs on the plug with the slots on the bank. Turn the plug clockwise until you feel it “lock.”
