2 Catalog Number • Numéro de Catalogue • Número de Catálogo: DT-355 Country of Origin: Made in China • Pays d’origine: Fabriqué en Chine • País de origen: Hecho en China DT-355-U is BAA and TAA compliant (Product produced in the U.S.) UNIT DESCRIPTION The Wattstopper DT-355 360° Dual Technology occupancy sensors combine advanced passive infrared (PIR) and ultrasonic technologies into one unit. The combination of these technologies helps to eliminate false triggering problems even in difficult applications. The DT-355 turns lighting systems on and off based on occupancy and ambient light levels. The light level feature can be used to keep lights from turning on if the ambient light level is sufficient. The DT-355 offers numerous operating modes that can be combined to create the ideal custom control. The sensors can be configured to turn lighting on, and hold it on as long as either or both technologies detect occupancy. After no movement is detected for the user- specified time the lights are switched off. A “walk-through” mode can turn lights off after only 3 minutes, if no activity is detected after 30 seconds of an occupancy detection. The DT-355 operates on 120VAC, 230VAC (1Ø), 277VAC, or 347VAC line voltage. PLACEMENT GUIDELINES Depending upon obstacles such as furniture or room layout, the area of coverage may be less or more than the sensing distances shown in the coverage pattern. This must be considered when planning the number of sensors and their placement. It is also recommended to place the sensor at least 4 to 6 feet away from air supply vents. Mount the sensor to the ceiling. The DT-355 is designed for a ceiling heights of about 8-12 feet. Mounting above or below this range will significantly affect the coverage patterns. As a general rule, each occupant should be able to clearly view the sensor. Masking the PIR Lens: Opaque adhesive tape is supplied so that sections of the PIR lens can be masked. This restricts the sensor’s view and allows you to eliminate PIR coverage in unwanted areas such as hallways outside of the desired coverage area. Since masking removes bands of coverage, remember to take this into account when troubleshooting coverage problems. The Ultrasonic coverage cannot be masked, but you can adjust its sensitivity to reduce the coverage area. 2 Catalog Number • Numéro de Catalogue • Número de Catálogo: LMSH-CR Country of Origin: Made in China • Pays d’origine: Fabriqué en Chine • País de origen: Hecho en China BATTERIES The LMSH-CR operates on three standard 1.5V AAA Alkaline batteries or three rechargeable AAA NiMH batteries. The battery status displays in the upper right corner of the display. Three bars next to BAT= indicates a full battery charge. A warning appears on the display when the battery level falls below a minimum acceptable level. To conserve battery power, the LMSH-CR automatically shuts off 10 minutes after the last key press. DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION The LMSH-CR Shade Configuration Tool is a handheld tool for setup and testing of Legrand Shading Digital Lighting Management (DLM) based shading devices. It provides wireless access to shade motors, switches, and shade controllers for setup and parameter changes outside of the automatic Plug and Go (PnG) process for initial shade room setup. The LMSH-CR displays menus and prompts to lead you through each process. The navigation pad provides a familiar way to navigate through the customization fields. The LMSH-CR allows modification of the system without requiring ladders or tools and can be done simply with a touch of a few buttons. Upon initial shade room start-up, PnG will automatically configure all connected shade motors to all installed switches for default operation depending on the type of shade fabric and the type of installed switches. During testing, the factory will assign a value in the shade motor indicating the opacity of the installed shade fabric. This will be used to determine the shade button assignments. The PnG will also set a default shade upper and lower limit which can be adjusted using the Pull and Save (PnS) procedure (see installation instructions). Lastly, all shades are assigned to all shade switch button upon start-up. By using the Push n’ Learn (PnL) process (see installation instructions), installer can assign individual buttons to control one or more specific shades. The functions setup by the PnS and PnL processes can also be done using the LMSH-CR. The LMSH-CR’s IR transceiver allows bidirectional communication between DLM-based shade devices and the LMSH-CR. Simple menu screens allow you to view the current status of the system and make changes. The LMSH-CR can change motor parameters like roll direction, shade speed, and any of the shade upper and lower limits. It can also change shade groupings, switch assignments, and shade switch functionality. For a detailed explanation of all the screens in the LMSH-CR, see the LMSH-CR User Guide, which can be downloaded from the Legrand Commercial Shading website. The LMSH-CR has a micro-USB port (found in the battery compartment when you remove the battery cover). This port is used to update the firmware in the LMSH-CR, when updates are made available. Details on updating can be found in the LMSH-CR User Guide. NAVIGATION You navigate from one field to another using  (up) or  (down) arrow keys. The active field is indicated by flashing (alternates between yellow text on black background and black text on yellow background). Once active, use the Select button to move to a menu or function within the active field. Value fields are used to adjust parameter settings. They are shown in “less-than/greater- than” symbols: . Once active, change them using  (left) and (right) arrow keys. The  left key decrements and the  right key increments a value. Selections wrap-around if you continue to press the key beyond maximum or minimum values. Moving away from the value field (using / keys) overwrites the original value. The (Home) button takes you to the main menu. The (Back) button can be thought of as an undo function. It takes you back one screen. Changes that were in process prior to pressing the button are lost. Home Menu The Home (or Main) menu displays after the powerup process completes. It contains information on the battery status and six menu choices. Press up/down buttons to locate the desired function then press Select. Wattstopper ® Wireless DLM Border Router Installation Instructions • Instructions d’Installation • Instrucciones de Instalación No: 26814 – 04/20 rev. r6 Catalog Number • Numéro de Catalogue • Número de Catálogo: LMBR-650 Country of Origin: Made in China • Pays d’origine: Fabriqué en Chine • País de origen: Hecho en China Not included: • LMRJ cable connection between power adapter cable and LMPB-100 • CAT5e network cable for connection to LAN, DLM Management software, and other BACnet devices If the site will only have a single LMBR-650, it should be mounted as described below. If there are multiple LMBR-650s, one of them will be designated as the Primary LMBR and all others will be Secondary LMBRs. It is Wattstopper best practice that the Primary LMBR be used only for communication with other LMBRs and not have any wireless devices assigned to its network. Therefore, the Primary LMBR will often be mounted in a network enclosure and will only communicate via ethernet cable and not with its wireless radio. A single (or secondary) LMBR-650 is intended to be mounted in a central location for optimal communication with wireless devices. It is rated for installation in plenum or non-plenum ceiling spaces. The LMBR-650 should be mounted to a vertical surface, using the included T-shaped bracket, for optimum efficiency of wireless transmission/reception. For projects designed by Wattstopper services, check the drawing for optimal border router placement. Wattstopper recommends a minimum of 10’ between the LMBR-650 and another LMBR- 650 or any wireless bridges or wireless room controllers. 1. Using T-shaped mounting bracket, locate a suitable vertical surface to mount the T-shaped bracket with the two screw holes facing down (T upside down orientation as shown). Use provided self tapping screws to mount the T-adapter. 2. Once T-adapter is secure, locate the mounting holes on back side of border router and T-shaped adapter. With the border router network connections facing upward align the border router over the mounting pegs and slide down to lock into place. NOTE: A single LMBR-650 or a secondary LMBR-650 in a multi-LMBR network should not be installed in an enclosure. A primary LMBR-650 can be installed in a network enclosure, since it will communicate via ethernet cable.
