GENERAL NOTES: This module will control the Marantz VP12-S3 + VP-10S1 DLP Projectors. True feedback is provided for all functions including elapsed lamp hours. When any command is sent to the projector, it will acknowledge that the command was processed properly and the corresponding feedback will be reflected at the outputs of this module. When the Poll_Enable input is asserted (Default =1), the projector will be polled every 15 seconds to determine the state of power. If it is desired to poll the projector for all other setting changes made using the IR remote control, or by the controls on the projector itself, you can assert the Poll_Settings input (Default =1). When this input is high, the projector will be polled every 45 seconds to determine the state of current selected source, aspect ratio, picture mute lamp mode, presets and elapsed Lamp Hour usage. Typically, you could enable either polling option when the projector's particular control page is active and displayed on a touch panel. You would then disable polling at other times. VP-10S1 3 Chip DLPTM High Definition Projector The soon-to-be legendary VP-10S1 uses 3-chip DLP® technology which uses a separate DMD™ device to process each primary color. This is the same technology used in the big DLP Cinema® projectors found in many of the state-of-the-art movie palaces worldwide. By combining this proven methodology with Marantz’s expertise in video projector design, the VP-10S1 will display an image that truly must be experienced to be believed. Colors so saturated that you will want to pinch yourself to see if you are dreaming, and a black level that can be approximated by outer space — barely. If you were waiting for digital projection to become better than CRT, your wait has ended. • Texas Instruments 3-chip DLP® Technology • High Definition DMD™ HD-2 “Mustang” Chipset • 3 Chip, 10-Bit Faroudja DCDi™ Processing • 14-Bit Gamma Correction • 12-Bit Color Path • 1200 ANSI Lumens Brightness • >3600:1 Contrast Ratio • Custom Optics by Marantz • 3 Lens Options • Motorized Lens (Shift H/V, Zoom, Focus) • Exclusive O.R.C.A.™ Color Corrected Light Source • Coated and Painted Combining Prism • 250 Watt VIP Lamp • DVI Input with HDCP • Auto Color Temperature Calibration System • 2 Multi-scan Component Inputs (RCA and BNC) • RS232C Terminal for System Control • 2 DC Triggers • D-BUS Remote Connection (3.5mm Mini-jack) • Illuminated I/O Terminal Panel Compatible ®
