REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS Remove nozzle from body. Secure plate/ motor assem- bly to body by replacing the retaining ring. #13161 R55 VT PLATE/MOTOR KIT QTY R55 VT Blue Plate/Motor Assembly 1 Retaining Ring 1 #13163 R55i VT PLATE/MOTOR KIT QTY R55i VT Green Plate/Motor Assembly 1 Retaining Ring 1 NOTE: For R55 and R55i, use kits #12437 and #12654, respectively. If the shaft or motor of the R55VT is worn or damaged the plate will not rotate properly. The plate/motor assembly can be replaced using this kit. Plate/Motor Assy Retaining Ring Remove old plate/motor assembly from body, and insert new plate/ motor assembly. Remove retaining ring using snap- ring pliers. Reinstall the nozzle in body. 1 2 3 4 5 6 NOTE: If you have a version of the R55VT with a spacer, replace it with the new spacer included in this kit. Otherwise disregard. Remove the old plate from the backer plate by removing three screws. Remove retaining ring using snap-ring pliers. Separate plate/motor assembly from body. Install new plate by aligning all three holes in the backer plate with the holes in the plate and inserting three screws. Remove nozzle from body. A worn or damaged plate will result in decreased performance and should be replaced. The plates are not interchangeable between R55VT and R55i VT models.
