Each model is built around a genu- ine QUAD Industrial DuAlign™ precision transducer, offering linear response in both amplitude and phase domains. Drivers are loaded in tuned and ported steel enclosures with integral suspension mounting points and are supplied with round painted steel grilles. Arena 6 The Arena 6 is a large format two-way ceiling speaker system consisting of an 6” DuAlign™ woofer with integral 2” compres- sion driver mounted inside a vented steel enclosure suited for overhead suspension. A white round steel grille is provided. There are two versions available: • Arena 6 – Black, 4Ω, 120 Watts • Arena 6-16 – Black, 16Ω, 120 Watts • Arena 6T – Black, 70/100V with 120 Watt transformer Arena 8 The Arena 8 is a large format two-way ceiling speaker system consisting of an 8" DuAlign™ woofer with integral 2" compres- sion driver mounted inside a vented steel enclosure suited for overhead suspension. A white round steel grille is provided. There are two versions available: • Arena 8 – Black, 4Ω, 120 Watts • Arena 8-16 – Black, 16Ω, 120 Watts • Arena 8T – Black, 70/100V with 120 Watt transformer Arena 10 The Arena 10 is a large format two-way ceiling speaker system consisting of a 10" DuAlign™ woofer with integral 2" compres- sion driver mounted inside a vented steel enclosure suited for overhead suspension. There are two versions available: • Arena 12 – Black, 4Ω, 200 Watts • Arena 12-16 – Black, 16Ω, 200 Watts • Arena 12T – Black, 70/100V with 200 Watt transformer Arena 15 The Arena 15 is a large format two-way ceiling speaker system consisting of a 15" DuAlign™ woofer with integral 2" compres- sion driver mounted inside a vented steel enclosure suited for  overhead suspension. A white round steel grille is provided. There are two versions available: • Arena 15 – Black, 4Ω, 300 Watts • Arena 15-16 – Black, 16Ω, 300 Watts • Arena 15T – Black, 70/100V with 240 Watt transformer QT-250 The QT-250 is a high power constant-voltage line matching transformer designed to adapt the high-powered Arena low-im- pedance models to constant-voltage operation. Power taps are provided at 250/125/60/30 Watts into 70V or 100V line with secondary impedances of 4 Ω or 8Ω. • QT-250 – 250 Watt 70/100V Line matching transformer FULL GRILLE 6, 8 & 10 Select the appropriate FULL GRILLE model for applications where Arena speakers require a square grille in place of the round grille supplied. • FULL GRILLE-6 – Round, painted, White replacement grille for Arena 6 • FULL GRILLE-8 – Round, painted, White replacement grille for Arena 8 • FULL GRILLE-10, 12 & 15 – Square, painted, White replacement grille for Arena 10, Arena 12 and Arena 15 PRODUCT FEATURES All Arena models are supplied as complete speaker systems with all required components and come preassembled. Each model includes a DuAlign™ coaxial driver with passive crossover and round steel grille, mounted inside a vented steel enclosure. Arena models are intended for overhead mounting and are fitted with four steel mounting tabs welded to the rear of the enclosure. All models are fitted with isolated barrier strips for direct termi- nation of power amplifier wiring. Barrier strips are covered with a removable metal cover fitted with conduit entry knockouts. NOTE: Please ensure that you are familiar with all of the mount- ing hardware and that you possess the needed experience and certification in rigging before begining the installation. INSTALLATION Arena speaker models are designed to be suspended by means of the four welded steel suspension points on the rear of the enclosure. Proper suspension requires the use of all four points for even weight distribution and safety. Other installation schemes are possible with third-party accessories and enclo- sures. Consult with your local distributor or QUAD Industrial directly for further information. NOTE: Suspend speakers using Aircraft cable

Packaged in pairs (except the C-SUB and C-SUBT) and including all needed mounting accessories, the C series models are complete vented speaker assemblies with a metal back box, ABS front baffle and attractive metal grille. Each model is available in both low-impedance 16Ω and constant-volt- age 70/100V versions (with T suffix). CONCOURSE C4/C4-16/C4T The Concourse C4 is a two-way ceiling mounted speaker system consisting of a 4" cone low frequency driver and a 1" soft dome tweeter. Speakers are packed in pairs and come complete with a tile backing C-ring, mounting support rails plastic paint covers and cardboard cutout templates. There are three versions available: • Concourse C4 – Selectable 4Ω/16Ω/70V/100V operation, 30W transformer included • Concourse C4-16 – 16Ω version, 25 Watts • Concourse C4T – 70/100 Volt operation only, 30W transformer included Concourse C6 The Concourse C6 is a two-way ceiling mounted speaker system consisting of a 6" cone low frequency driver and a 1" soft dome tweeter. Speakers are packed in pairs and come complete with a tile backing C-ring, mounting support rails plastic paint covers and cardboard cutout templates. • Concourse C6 – Selectable 4Ω/16Ω/70V/100V operation, 50W transformer included Concourse C8 The Concourse C8 is a two-way ceiling mounted speaker system consisting of an 8" dual voice coil cone low frequency driver and a 1" soft dome tweeter. Speakers are packed in pairs and come complete with a tile backing C-ring, mounting support rails, plastic paint covers and cardboard cutout templates. • Concourse C8 – Selectable 4Ω/16Ω/70V/100V operation, 60W transformer included Concourse CSUB The Concourse CSUB is a ceiling mounted subwoofer system con- sisting of a 10" sub bass driver and integral low-pass crossover. The CSUB is fitted with dual low-impedance voice coils allowing connection to stereo power amplifiers at either 4Ω or 16Ω, or to 70/100V amplifiers through a built-in 100W transformer. • Concourse CSUB – Selectable 4Ω/16Ω/70V/100V operation, dual 50W low impedance coils, 100W transformer included 4 PRODUCT FEATURES All models include the following components: • Speaker assembly (2) • Cover grille with restraint (2) • Split C ring backing plate (2) • Support Rails (4) • Plastic paint cover (2) • Cardboard cutout template (2) Please ensure that you are familiar with all of the parts and how they are assembled before commencing the installation. Built around an acoustically inert MDF enclosure, the QSUB delivers frequency response down to 35Hz. Built around a genuine QUAD long- throw woofer with integral passive crossover, the QSUB integrates easily into any audio system. CONCOURSE QSUB Compact dual voice-coil subwoofer designed for corner installa- tion. Features a heavy duty 10" woofer designed specifically for subwoofer operation and includes an internal crossover with fil- tered high-pass outputs to feed full range speakers. The enclosure offers 12 threaded inserts for rigging applications. A steel mount- ing bracket and hardware are included. Available only in black: • Concourse QSUB – Black, Dual 125 Watt 8Ω voice coils • Concourse QSUB-W – White, Dual 125 Watt 8Ω voice coils PRODUCT FEATURES The Concourse QSUB enclosure is designed for installation in a corner, where the boundary effect of the mounting surfaces will serve to enhance the speaker’s output level. The speaker is sup- plied with a unique corner-mount bracket which permits close installation into a corner between two wall surfaces or between a wall and ceiling surface. In addition, to facilitate other mounting needs, the QSUB is fitted with 12 M8 threaded inserts. The QSUB features a genuine QUAD long-throw 10" woofer designed specifically for this application. This unique driver is equipped with two 8Ω voice coils that can be connected to the Threaded Rigging Points The Q SUB is supplied with a unique corner-mount bracket which permits close installation into a corner between two wall surfaces L and R channels of a power amplifier for true stereo subwoofer operation. For mono applications the voice coils can be paralleled to present a 4Ω impedance.
