1 r Addendum The following function was added in BK-5 version 1.04. Check the version If the version is earlier than 1.04, download the update from the support page (http://www.roland. com/support/) Downloads  product name (BK-5)  BK-5 System Program Version 1.04, and update your BK-5. * If this addendum was included with the BK-5 you purchased, your instrument has already been updated to version 1.04 or later; you do not need to update. How to check the version Press [MENU] button  “Global”  “Utility” “Version Info” Changing the octave just in one touch A new quick way was added to transpose the real-time parts (UP1, UP2 and LWR) up or down in octave steps. 1. While holding the 1st button, quickly press the 2nd button according to the following table: Real Time Part 1st Button 2nd Button Octave UP1 + Down Up UP2 + Down Up LWR + Down Up The following window popup appears:

How to tell the version Please check the version of the system working on your BK-5 before downloading the archive file. 1. Press the [ MENU ] button. 2. Select GLOBAL and press the [ ENTER ] button. 3. Select UTILITY and press the [ ENTER ] button. 4. Scroll up to the end of the list to reach the Version Info Label. * Do not perform the update if the product is already up-to-date. [Functional Improvements]  Introduced the selection of FAVORITE TONES.  Introduced the QUICK RECALL OF PERFORMANCES.  Introduced the COPY and RENAME of PERFORMANCES.  Introduced the Harmonium 1, Harmonium 2, Harmonium 3 in the PAD/ETHNIC tone families.  Introduce the RESET of KEY VALUE by pressing KEY button again when KEY Pop UP is opened.  Improved One Touch Edit screen. The names of recalled Tones for each part is now shown.  Improved Volume screen recalled by pressing [LWR] + [UP2]. The Reverb, Chorus and Pan Pot is now changeable in that screen.
