Features • Compact high-performance stereo microphone suitable for digital recording. • Mode switch allowing for different frequency response settings, depending on recording conditions. • Powered by either battery or recorders equipped with the plug-in power supply system. • Equipped with small stand and clip for easy placement on a desk or lapel attachment. Precautions • Keep the microphone away from extremely high temperatures and humidity (above 60°C or 140°F). • The microphone should never be dropped or subjected to extreme shock since it is very sensitive. • When using the microphone outdoors, avoid exposing it to rain or seawater. Clean the plug and case with a soft, dry cloth should they become dirty. • If the microphone is placed near loudspeakers, a howling effect (acoustic feedback ) may occur because it catches sound from the speakers again. In such a case, place the microphone as far as possible from the speakers, change the direction of the microphone, or decrease the speaker volume until the howling effect stops. • If the microphone becomes dirty, clean with a soft, dry cloth. Notes on the battery • Keep the battery out of the reach of children. • Should the battery be swallowed, immediately consult a doctor. • Wipe the battery with a dry cloth to assure a good contact. • Do not hold the battery with metallic tweezers, otherwise a short-circuit may occur.
