We recommend working in a well-ventilated and open area to ensure operational comfort. ◆ Please turn off the electric power when dismantling / replacing the laser engraving module. ◆ Defect reparation must be carried out according to the contents of this instruction manual. Where the defect cannot be repaired, please contact your printer dealer or the customer service center. Installing the laser engraving module: Detachment of the laser engraving module To release the extruder: After removing the spool, please select [CHANGE NOZZLE]. If the printer has filament inside,please “unload the Filament” first. Select [CHANGE SPOOL]. The Nozzle will back to the home position and then turn off the power. ● ● ● TURN OFF POWER AND THEN CHANGE NOZZLE MODULE UTILITIES CALIBRATE BUILD SAMPLE CHANGE NOZZLE Press the white button at the back of the extruder to release it. ◆ Connect the flat cable to the laser en- graver. (Remind the flat cable direction.) ◆ Please select [CHANGE NOZZLE],then switch off the printer power. ◆ Press the white button at the back of the laser engraver to release it. ◆ Detach the connected cables. ◆ Complete dismantling and provide proper safekeeping of the laser engraver module. ◆ Align the laser engraver with the bracket and press it to fix the holder. Lightly press the spring around the feed hole and remove the filament guide tube. Press on the harness chips and disconnect the cable. Place the aluminum foil on the platform and secure the 4 corners with tape. The foil will protect the platform against any damage during the engraving process. 1. Remove the filament guide tube and fix the rubber plug to the filament moving area on the top of the printer. The plug helps stop the emitting of laser light. 3. The engraving module is only capable of engraving planar objects. The target should thus be placed flatly on the panel. Avoid engraving warped or curved objects that are not completely flat. The user may use tape to secure and flatten the object on the platform or other flat surfaces. Please verify that the device is connected. Then carry out Connect My Printer. After connecting, the XYZware screen will appear. Select the Switch to Laser Engraving function at the Tool area at top right hand corner of the software interface. Before you start printing, please affix the bed tape on the print bed. The bed tape may be removed after printing is complete. (Bed tape can be reused.) Before launching XYZware, connect the PC to with printer using the USB cable. For a better user experience, it is strongly advised to follow the proper procedure for using the product. Insert the SD card that came with the printer into your computer or download the latest XYZware from the official Website and install it on the computer. Be sure to remove the fixing tapes at the back of the print bed. Use the USB cable to connect the printer to PC. Connect the power cord to the printer then turn on the power switch. Be sure to remove the paper cardboard near the Y-axis. Open the box and remove the accessories and cushions. Be sure to remove the fixing cushion from the axis. Remove the plastic bag and the tapes. Please removal all fixed materials before turning on the printer to prevent the machine from damage. Remove all fixing tapes and the cushion between print bed and extruder module.
