Do not recharge a fully charged battery pack!

Overcharging damages and shortens the lifespan of the battery pack! Only use the charger indoors. Protect the charger from moisture. Keep children away from the battery charger and the working area! Keep your battery charger out of reach of children! Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the tool. Pull out the mains plug immediately if the battery charger starts to smoke or flames emerge! Do not insert objects into the ventilation slots on the battery charger – there is a danger of electric shocks and short circuits! Never use faulty or deformed battery packs! Never attempt to charge the battery pack with two chargers simultaneously. 5 Overview See page 3. 1 Operation display 6 Initial Operation Before plugging in, check to see that the rated mains voltage and mains frequency, as stated on the rating label, match with your power supply. Minimum distance to other objects is 5 cm! 7 Use 7.1 Charging battery pack The operation display (1) flashes (2 seconds on, 1 second off). Note: A battery pack that is new or has not been used for some time only reaches full capacity after being charged and discharged several times. 7.2 Conservation charge The operating display (1) lights up continuously. Once the charging process has finished, the battery charger automatically switches to conservation mode. The battery pack can remain in the battery charger and is therefore always ready for use. 8 Fault 8.1 Battery pack defective The operation display (1) flashes quickly (1/2 second on, 1/2 second off). Battery pack is defective. Disconnect the battery pack from the charger immediately. 8.2 Battery pack too warm / too cold When the battery pack is inserted, the operation display (1) lights up for approx. 2 1/2 seconds and then turns off. The battery pack is not being charged. The temperature is too high or too low. When the temperature of the battery pack is between 0 °C and 50 °C, the charging process begins automatically.
