NFW watches are pretty tough, as far as precision instruments go. Here’s a few tips to help keep your watch running strong and lookin’ good for many years. WATER RESISTANCE Your AutoPilot is water-resistant to 200 Meters (660 feet).It comes equipped with a screw-down crown. Always be sure the crown is pushed in and screwed down securely before getting the watch wet. Otherwise, it may leak water, damaging the watch. 1. Pull the crown out to the 1st position. 2. Turn the crown counter-clockwise to set the date. If the date is set between the hours of 9:00 PM and 1:00 AM, the date may not change on following day. So, set the date after 1:00 AM or before 9:00 PM. Be sure to screw crown down. 3. After the date’s been set, push the crown back in to the normal position and screw down securely.
