Titon SF Xtra Vent Series Operating Instructions

Fixing and Operating Instructions 1. Prepare slots accurately and pre-drill fixing holes. Avoid glazing rebates and reinforcement. 2. Fix vent by opening end caps and screwing to section. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN SCREWS! End caps should be delivered closed but not clicked shut. If they click shut during transit they can be opened again by gently rotating a flat blade screwdriver as shown below. Recommended screws: 3.5mm (No.6) Round Head or equivalent. Fitting Tolerance: Due to the SF Xtra vent being designed for narrow profiles, the accuracy of fitting is vital to achieve best performance. The screws must be fitted on the same centre line as the slot, with maximum tolerances of 0.5mm above and 1mm below the centre line.
