The ignition must be turned OFF before installation. 1 Remove the seat. 2 Prop the fuel tank up using the stock prop rod. 3 Remove the right hand side cover. 4 Route the PCIII USB EX harness from the right hand side of the bike under the frame rail and towards the front of the bike as shown in Figure A. 5 Attach the ground wire from the PCIII USB EX to the negative side of the battery as shown in Figure B. 6 Unplug the black connector from the throttle bodies to the main wiring harness as shown in Figure C. 7 Attach the connectors from the PCIII USB EX to the stock connectors and throttle bodies as shown in Figure D. Tuck the connectors towards the front of the bike and down as far as possible to clear the fuel tank. 8 Mount the PCIII USB EX to the side of the relays and ECU using the supplied velcro. The velcro may not be needed as the side cover will hold the PCIII USB EX in place. 9 Bolt the fuel tank back into position. 10 Reinstall the side cover. 11 Insert the cd provided into your computer’s cd-rom drive. 12 Follow the on-screen instructions to install the PCIII USB EX software.
