Si va a utilizar el adaptador con un televisor, el escritorio de Windows puede no aparecer completo. Esto se debe a que los televisores pueden usar sobre escaneo (over scan), que evita que los bordes de la imagen sean visibles. Al mostrar un escritorio de Windows, los iconos y la barra de tareas pueden quedar ocultos. Para adaptar el tamaño del escritorio de Windows en la pantalla del televisor puede utilizar Ajuste de TV. Nota: Ajuste de TV solo funciona en el modo extendido. Si elige esta opción mientras está en modo espejo, la pantalla se ampliará para igualar a la de la computadora. Esta opción tampoco soporta rotación.

Elija entre dos rangos de versiones, según sea la versión de su mac: - Mac OSx 10.4 a 10.5 - Mac OSx 10.6.8 or later 3. Ejecute el archivo DisplayLink Sofware Installer.pkg. 4. Acepte el Acuerdo de licencia y presione Continuar. 5. Seleccione que está de acuerdo. 6. Presione Instalar. 7. Al finalizar la instalación deberá reiniciar la computadora. 8. Una vez que haya reiniciado la computadora, conecte el dispositivo USB a un puerto de la computadora.

Al acoplar una pantalla que el software no ha detectado antes, ésta se extiende por defecto a la derecha de la pantalla principal. Para configurar los ajustes para cada una de las pantallas USB conectadas, seleccione “Pantalla” en el menú “Preferencias del sistema”. Esto abrirá una ventana “Preferencias de visualización” en cada una de las pantallas adicionales que permitirá configurar cada pantalla según sea necesario. Es posible utilizar el botón de “Reunir ventanas” para traer todas las ventanas de preferencias de visualización en la pantalla principal.

En versiones distintas a Windows 8, el menú puede cambiar. • Seleccione una de las opciones. • La pantalla se actualizará para ejecutar su selección. PANEL DE CONTROL Presione el ícono para poder ver las diferentes opciones del dispositivo. 5. CONTROLAR EL MODO DE LA PANTALLA En versiones distintas a Windows 8, el menú puede cambiar. El siguiente menú aparecerá: Para seleccionar el modo de la pantalla presione windows + P

Elija la opción 2. USB HDMI Adapter para ver las siguientes opciones: 1. Resolución de Pantalla Permite seleccionar la resolución de la pantalla. 2. Rotación de pantalla Permite elegir el modo de rotación de la pantalla: Normal, A la izquierda, A la derecha, Boca abajo. 3. Extender a Extiende el escritorio de la pantalla original hacia la Derecha, Izquierda, Arriba o Abajo. 4. Extendido Extiende el escritorio de la pantalla original hacia los otros monitores.

Establece el monitor actual como el principal. 6. Copiado Muestra la imagen del monitor original en los monitores conectados. 7. Apagado Apaga la imagen de los monitores conectados, excepto del original. 8. Optimizar para video Aumenta la calidad de la imagen haciendola ver mas nítida. 9. Ajustar al televisor Seleccione esta opción para aumentar o reducir el tamaño de su escritorio de Windows y ajustarlo a la pantalla de su televisor. Mensajes de error Software de gráficos DisplayLink ocasionalmente muestra mensajes de usuario en una burbuja en el área de notificación. La siguiente tabla enumera los mensajes de los usuarios y su descripción.

Soporte USB 3.0 Los controladores de Host USB 3.0 son relativamente nuevos y podrían tener errores. Los puertos USB 3.0 pueden mostrar problemas que no están presentes cuando se conecta a un puerto USB 2.0. Por favor, asegúrese de que los controladores de host USB 3.0 están actualizados, ya que esto puede resolver muchos problemas con el adaptador conectado por USB 3.0. If using your DisplayLink product to connect to a TV, all of the Windows desktop may not available. This is because TVs can use overscan, which prevents the edges of the image to be visible. When showing a Windows desktop, overscan prevents the edges of the screen being visible, which can hide tha task bar and icons. Fit to TV can be used to reduce the size of the Windows desktop on the TV screen. Note: Fit to TV only works in extend mode. If choosing the option while in mirror mode, the DisplayLink screen will change to extend and be placed above the laptop screen in Windows Display Properties. Fit to TV does not support rotated modes.

Adjust the TV Select this option to increase or decrease the size of your Windows desktop and fit the screen of your TV. Error Messages DisplayLink Graphics software occasionally displays user messages in a bubble in the notification area. The table below lists the users messages and their description.

If this happens: 1. Try to upgrade to the latest graphics drivers for your primary graphics card. 2. Try to upgrade to latest DisplayLink software. 3. Report the issue via your support channel. 4. If necessary, boot into Safe Mode and use Windows Backup and Restore Center to recover.
