support.cmnd.pro 1. Software upgrade 1.1 Virgin mode When the installation wizard is displayed, it is possible to directly upgrade the software from the TV. To be able to upgrade you need to have a USB stick plugged in with a valid software before starting the TV. A valid software version to be recognized by the tv should be named VES172HE_upgrade.bin into the root of a usb device. The software file called VES172HE_upgrade.bin for your xxHFL2899 product is delivered into the package next to this manual. Please follow below steps: 1. Copy the VES172HE_upgrade.bin file in the root directory of a formatted USB device and connect the usb device to the usb input of the tv 2. If a valid software is found on the USB stick, you can upgrade the software by pressing the RED button on the guest remote control. 3. After the software is loaded successfully, the TV will go to standby mode, program the software in the TV while the red LED is flashing on the TV and boot up again with the installation wizard when finished. 4. support.cmnd.pro 2. Instant initial cloning Instant initial cloning allows you to copy all TV channels and settings without going through the installation wizard. After creating a `masterclone file` on one `master tv`, configuring the channel installation and all settings to be applied, instant initial cloning can be done as follows: 1. Copy the masterclone file out of the master tv on a formatted usb device. This can be done into the professional menu (319753mute) selecting `copy to usb` 2. On all other tv`s, during the first step of the installation wizard, (language selection) insert the USB flash drive into the usb side connector. 3. Press the GREEN button on the remote and TV set will display the folder view of the USB flash drive. 4. Select the folder which contains the cloning data which needs to be applied. After selecting the folder press OK to start the upgrade process. 5. TV will display the OSD message the cloning data was uploaded and TV will reset. 6. When the process is complete, the TV will restart and display the switch ON channel. 7. Remove the usb device, the tv is now configured with the new settings/channellist. 8. Done
