Zamek drzwiowy nawierzchniowy

z pokrętłem i alarmem GERDA TYTAN ZE−1 PRZEZNACZONY DO DRZWI OTWIERANYCH NA ZEWNĄTRZ Certyfikat Zgodności Instytutu Mechaniki Precyzyjnej Wbudowany elektroniczny układ alarmowy Możliwość włączenia w system alarmowy Blokada pokrętła Zamek przebadany w Centralnym Laboratorium Kryminalistycznym KG Policji Konstrukcja chroniona w Urzędzie Patentowym RP 4 000 000 000 kombinacji klucza – producent gwarantuje niepowtarzalność każdego egzemplarza 4 klucze w komplecie Wszystkie zamki TYTAN mogą pracować w systemie MASTER KEY zapewniając użytkownikom żądaną hierarchię dostępu klucza. Ponadto zamek posiada hartowane zabezpie− czenia uniemożliwiające sforsowanie go za pomocą wiertarki, a blokada przeciwwyważeniowa oraz szyld o specjalnej kon− strukcji eliminują możliwość wyłamania go z ramy drzwi. ) połączone z normalnie zwartymi stykami czujnika nacisku (rys. ). ) – wywiercić otwór C blokady przeciwwyważeniowej O 9 pro− stopadle do osi otworu B (rys. ) UWAGA: Nie należy wiercić otworu blokady w czasie, gdy bębenek zamka znajduje się w otworze B; grozi to uszkodzeniem bębenka. – ustawić rygle zamka w pozycji „1”, włożyć bębenek do otworu B a następnie skręcić zamek i szyld czterema wkrętami M6x35 (rys. Używanie kluczy dorabianych w nieautoryzowanych warsztatach grozi uszkodzeniem zamka i utratą gwarancji. Surface mounted alarm lock

with thumbturn DESIGNED FOR OUTWARD OPENING DOORS Certified by the Institute of Precision Engineering Built−in electronic alarm circuit Can be incorporated into the existing alarm system Deadlocking Tested by the Central Forensic Laboratory of Criminology Design protected by the Polish Patent Office 4,000,000,000 different key combinations – manufacturer guarantees a unique key code for each manufactured lock Four keys in each set All TYTAN range locks can be Master suited to provide the required hierarchy of access. The locks can also be manufactured as VARIANT type which – should the key be lost – allows triple re−coding without the necessity of changing the complete lock. TYTAN ZE−1, a new generation door lock equipped with a built− in alarm circuit and a convenient limiter, replacing the traditional chain. The cylinder mechanism is fully resistant to lock−picking or opening with use of hand tools and specially designed hardened protectors prevent the lock from being drilled out with a hand drill. The hardened steel side pin and the escutcheon plate protect the lock from being punched out or removed from either side of the door leaf. The can be fitted to outward opening doors both left (option ZL) and right (option ZP). OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS The lock has three locking positions "1", "2" and "3" (fig. ). When in position "0" the lock is fully unlocked (the locking bars are hidden in the lock casing). Position "1" and "2" – normal locked position Turn the key / thumbturn 3600 once or twice. This will move the locking bars to position "1" or "2". The lock is now locked and can be unlocked by turning the thumbturn or the key one or two full turns in the opposite direction. Position "3" – deadlock Turn the key / thumbturn 3600 three times to move the locking bars to position "3". The lock is now dead− locked and cannot be unlocked by turning the thumbturn from the inside. Attempts to force the lock open form the inside will damage the thumbturn. The deadlocking system has been designed and developed by GERDA in order to protect the contents of the house and trap the burglar inside the house should he manage to break−in through the window. NOTE: Under no circumstances do not lubricate the lock, particularly do not inject any oily substances into the key hole; this can cause difficulties in operating the lock and will invalidate the manufacturer's warranty. The lock mechanism has been factory sealed for the period of at least 10 years. Keep the key barrel clean – any particles can cause difficulties when opening the lock. INTERNAL ALARM CIRCUIT The lock has a built−in internal alarm circuit signaling any attempt to force the door. For operation instructions please refer to the passage below. Stand−by – monitoring and battery control Alarm circuit is on stand−by whenever the locking bars are in "0" position (fig. ). As soon as the locking bars are moved from position "0" to position "1", "2" or "3" the circuit automatically switches onto the monitoring mode signaling the change with a short acoustic signal. Acoustic signal also confirms the correct level of battery voltage. If you do not hear the signal it means that the battery has to be replaced. NOTE: The circuit still operates even if there is no control signal, however the level of the sound can be lower than the nominal one. Alarm activation The alarm signal is automatically activated by any attempt to force and entry either on the lock or the hinge side of the door. A panic button is also fitted to the lock and allows the occupant to raise the alarm at any time by pressing the red alarm button (fig. ). Alarm duration (battery life) Alarm will initially sound for approximately 1 minute, then goes to stand−by. If further force is applied (or if the door has been permanently damaged), alarm will sound until the battery goes flat (this will happen approximately within 24 hours). Normally the battery will last about a year if on stand−by plus 100 one−minute alarms (115 dB). NOTE: The manufacturer recommends that the batteries are changed once a year irrespective of the their condition. Deactivation of the alarm Should the alarm be set off accidentally it can be switched off within the first 60 seconds by moving the locking bars (using the key or the thumbturn) to position "0". Power supply (battery replacement) System requires 2xPP9 batteries (2x9V). NOTE: It is recommended to use good quality batteries. The manufacturer will not be held responsible for faults occurring as a result of electrolyte leak from poor quality batteries or their short life. To replace the batteries: – lever the loudspeaker cover (fig. ) – remove the old batteries – connect terminals to new batteries placing the wires as shown in fig. – insert the new batteries (one at the time) – close and firmly press the loudspeaker cover down. Connection to the existing alarm system TYTAN ZE−1 lock can be fitted as a part of an alarm system. At the back cover of the lock there is "G" mini jack mono (fig. ), connected to normally closed force sensor contacts (fig. ). Activation of the alarm will break the circuit. FITTING INSTRUCTIONS To install the lock: – cut out the template from the following page of this manual; – chose a place for fitting the lock at the required height. NOTE: On the lock side chose a place where the door is relatively solid. Make sure that the chosen surface is flat (free of any particles that might have stuck to it while being painted). Similarly, when covering the door leaf with steel sheet or upholstery make sure that the chosen surface is flat and smooth (if door is upholstered please remove the foam from underneath the lock). – fit the template to the in such a way that the edge of the template marked with arrows is placed 3mm from the door frame (fig. ), – mark and drill holes A and B, Holes A – O 10, Hole B – O 42 – 45 (for hole B use the hole cutter). NOTE: Under no circumstances (subject to invalidating the manufacturer's warranty) do not drill holes through the lock – sawdust can jam the locking mechanism. – deepen holes A (escutchecon side) with 18mm drill bit (fig. ) – drill hole C for the side pin (O 9mm) at a 900 angle to hole B (fig. ), NOTE: Do not drill for the side pin while the lock while the cylinder remains in hole B. This could damage the cylinder mechanism. – set the locking bars in position "1", fit the lock cylinder into hole B and join the lock with the front plate using four M6x35 screws (fig. ) NOTE: When installed the lock should operate in the same way as prior to installation, i. e. all rotating and movable parts should rotate and move smoothly and without resistance. However, if such effects occur, the necessary adjustments should be made. – fit the lock keep (fig. ) using 2 timber screws 8g x 40 – push in the red alarm button and two plastic caps into the relevant holes (fig. ), – fit in and secure the side pin (fig. ). If the dimension of the door rebate is larger than a typical one, shorten the length of the side pin; if this dimension is smaller than a typical one, the base of the side pin should be sunk into the door. – For steel door frames cut out for the locking bars accordingly leaving an appropriate clearance of 2mm each side of the locking bars – For timber door frames fit the enclosed angle timber keep leaving symmetrical clearance each side of the locking bars (fig. ) NOTE: Make sure that the locking bars do not make contact with the keep while locking or unlocking the door. A suitable, symmetrical clearance should be kept all times (if necessary, adjust the clearance to suit). Improper installation of the lock and lack of clearance between the locking bars and the keep as well as lack of clearance caused by dropped or warped door will cause difficulties in operating the lock. It is therefore important that clearance is regularly checked. FINAL NOTES The lock should not be exposed to severe weather conditions (rain, snow) and should not be installed in areas of constant high humidity (laundries, drying rooms, etc.). The lock should be removed from the door prior to any refurbishment works. If you are planning to purchase several locks or if you already have a TYTAN type lock and you are looking to buy more please note that all these locks can be MASTER suited to your individual requirement. MASTER system provides the user with the required hierarchy of access, i. e. it is possible to open a garage with the key to the house, but it is impossible to open the house with the key to the garage. Owners of apartments in a block of flats can open their own apartment and the steel gate separating a part of the corridor but they cannot open their neighbours' doors. The owner of the company can open all rooms with his key while the storeman can only access the warehouse, and the guard can open only an entrance door, etc. – whatever suits your needs. NOTE: All locks manufactured by GERDA can be Master suited. ADDITIONAL KEYS are available from GERDA authorised outlets upon presentation of minimum two keys. Usage of keys cut by unauthorised outlets can damage the lock and invalidate the warranty. A door lock set consists of: – TYTAN ZE−1 door lock, version ZP / ZL – 1 piece, – keys – 4 pcs, – lock keep – 1 pcs, – angle keep – 1 pcs, – front plate – 1 pcs, – side pin – 1 pcs, – alarm push−button – 1 pcs, – plastic caps for the fixing holes – 2 pcs, – plastic caps for the keep fixings− 2 pcs, – screws for the lock M6 x 35 – 4 pcs, – screws for the lock keep 8g x 40 – 2 pcs, – screws for the angle keep 4.8g x 35 – 3 pcs, – screws for the side pin 3.9g x 13 – 2 pcs, – batteries 9 V – 2 pcs.
