SICUREZZA Avvertenze generali •� I prodotti a cui questo manuale si riferisce sono conformi alle Direttive della Comunità Europea e per- tanto recano la sigla . •� Il dispositivo funziona con pericolosa tensione di rete 230V~. 10 - 2 - INSTALLAZIONE 2.1 MONTAGGIO L’ ARCSTRIP18/ ARCSTRIP9 può essere collocato su una superficie solida. Inoltre, grazie alle possibilità di fissaggio con la piastra di supporto, l’unità può essere montata su diverse superfici come pareti e soffitti. Per il fissaggio occorrono dei supporti robusti per il montaggio. L’area di collocazione deve avere una sta- bilità sufficiente e supportare almeno 10 volte il peso dell’unità. Inoltre, assicurarsi di rispettare tutte le avvertenze, in materia di sicurezza, per tali proiettori. •� Fissare la clip di montaggio ad una superficie solida. •� La clip di montaggio deve essere installata con il lato fisso della piastra posizionato come in figura 2. •� Inserire il supporto di montaggio del dispositivo al centro della clip di montaggio. •� Utilizzare viti di fissaggio M6x20 in modo da bloccare il supporto di montaggio del dispositivo all’in- terno della clip di montaggio. 12 - 3 - COLLEGAMENTI Il proiettore a LED può essere collegato al controller dedicato ARCDRIVE436. Fare riferimento al manuali di questa unità per tutti i dettagli relativi ai requisiti di alimentazione, program- mi preimpostati e operazioni DMX. •� Collegare l’estremità del cavo con terminale RJ45 direttamente all’unità di controllo oppure ad oppor- tune unità di giunzione se il cavo deve essere esteso. 3.1 DIAGRAMMA DI CONNESSIONE Il numero di proiettori a LED che possono essere collegati insieme è definito dal valore della potenza di uscita dell’unità di controllo. Solo così, la luce può essere irradiata con la luminosità massima. Per la pulizia usare un panno morbido, pulito e un detergente per vetri come si trovano in commercio. Quindi asciu- gare le parti delicatamente.

SAFETY General instruction •� The products referred to in this manual conform to the European Community Directives and are there- fore marked with . •� The unit is supplied with hazardous network voltage (230V~). Leave servicing to skilled personnel only. Never make any modifications on the unit not described in this instruction manual, otherwise you will risk an electric shock. •� Connection must be made to a power supply system fitted with efficient earthing (Class I appliance ac- cording to standard EN 60598-1). It is, moreover, recommended to protect the supply lines of the units from indirect contact and/or shorting to earth by using appropriately sized residual current devices. •� The connection to the main network of electric distribution must be carried out by a qualified electrical installer. GENERAL INFORMATION Shipments and claims The goods are sold “ex works” and always travel at the risk and danger of the distributor. Eventual dam- age will have to be claimed to the freight forwarder. Any claim for broken packs will have to be forwarded within 8 days from the reception of the goods. Warranty and returns The guarantee covers the fixture in compliance with existing regulations. Please remember to register the piece of equipment soon after you purchase it, logging on www.musiclights.it. The product can be also registered filling in and sending the form available on your guarantee certificate. For all purposes, the va- lidity of the guarantee is endorsed solely on presentation of the guarantee certificate. Music & Lights will verify the validity of the claim through examination of the defect in relation to proper use and the actual validity of the guarantee. Music & Lights will eventually provide replacement or repair of the products de- clining, however, any obligation of compensation for direct or indirect damage resulting from faultiness.

The sleek and modern design of this fixture allows for excellent integration into most kinds of architecture. Used in combination and powered by ArcDRIVE controllers, arcSTRIP18 is an extremely flexible lighting tool. For fixing, stable mounting clips are required. The mounting place must be of sufficient stability and be able to support a weight of 10 times of the unit’s weight. When carrying out any installation, always comply scrupulously with all the regulations (particularly regarding safety) currently in force in the country in which the fixture’s being used. •� Install mounting clip to solid surface. •� The mounting clip should be mounted with the fixed/ supporting side of the mounting clip at the bot- tom (the lock plate of the mounting clip should be mounted at the top). •� Insert the mounting edge (connected to fixture) by first using the mounting edge to slightly push up on the lock plate side of the mounting clip, then snap the mounting edge into the center of the mount- ing clip. •� Use M6x20 fastening bolts to fully lock the mounting edge inside th mounting clip. Note that the fix- ture mounting angle should be adjusted before finally tightenig the fastening bolts.

For cleaning, disconnect the main plug from the socket. Use a soft, clean cloth moistened with a mild detergent. Then carefully wipe the part dry. For cleaning other housing parts use only a soft, clean cloth. Never use a liquid, it might penetrate the unit and cause damage to it.
