Die Klassen767-FAS-373-RAP-HP, 767-FAS-573-RAP-HP,

767-KFA-373-RAP-HP, die mit dem Nähantrieb DC1600/DA82GA ausgestattet sind, können mit einer pneumatischen Zusatzspannung FS 13-1 (Teile-Nr.: 0767 590204) nachgerüstet werden. 2.

The classes 767-FAS-373-RAP-HP, 767-FAS-573-RAP-HP,

767-KFA-373-RAP-HP equipped with sewing drive DC1600/DA82GA can be retrofitted with a pneumatic additional tension FS 13-1 (parts number 0767 590204). 2. Operation If required, the pneumatic additional tension can be engaged or disengaged at any time. – The additional tension is activated by key 5 . When the LED 1 is shining, the additional tension is active. – For this purpose the parameter F-147 has to be set to “1”. 3

Function of the main thread tension and the additional thread tension

depending on the sewing foot lift (NFL) Sewing foot lift (NFL) Sewing foot lift (NFL) in the seam after thread trimming Parameter Main Add. Main Add.- adjustment thread thread thread thread tension tension tension tension F-196=0 0 0 0 0 F-196=1 1 1 0 0 F-196=2 0 0 1 1 F-196=3 1 1 1 1 1 = thread tension mechanically opened 0 = thread tension mechanically closed – If the additional thread tension is open, it remains open when the sewing foot is lifted. – When the machine is switched off, the previously set status of the additional thread tension is maintained via the net. 2.2 Repair seams with thread tensions always closed In case of a repair seam the thread tensions should remain closed when the sewing foot is lifted. Here the adjustment of parameter F-196 for the function of the main thread tensi on and the additional thread tension depending on the sewing foot lift (NFL) is not effective. In order that the repair seam can be quickly engaged or disengaged, a parameter adjustment has to be done first. – Repair seam with key “A” of the Efka control panel V810/V820: set parameter F-293 to 18. – Repair seam with key “B” of the Efka control panel V810/V820: set parameter F-294 to 18. By actuating key “A” or “B” of the Efka control panel V810 or V820 (see operating instructions) the repair seam can quickly be engaged or disengaged with the thread tension always closed. If the repair seam had been switched on, it has to be switched off again at the end with the same key of the Efka control panel so that parameter F-196 is effective again. 4

stroke adjustment (HP) and the Speedomat Parameter Stroke adjustment (HP) max. Caution: Danger of injury!

The conversion of class 767 must only be done when the sewing machine is switched off. For the conversion of class 767 the following assembly parts have to be dismounted and removed. 1 = Tension plate with needle thread tension and hook thread tension 2 = Lever for the tension release 3 = Magnet 4 = Thread guide 6 1 2 3 4 3

Remove tension plate and thread tension

Caution: Danger of injury! The conversion of class 767 must only be done when the sewing machine is switched off. – Loosen the core pin 5 at the thread guide. – Remove thread guide 3 . – Loosen screws 2 and 4. – Take off tension plate 1 . 7 1 2 3 5 4

Dismount magnet and lever

– Loosen screws 1 and 2. – Take off magnet holder 3 . Attention! Do not dismount the potentiometer because otherwise the potentiometer has to be adjusted anew. Take off magnet 4 . – Remove the cable of the magnet from the connection box. – Remove lever 5 . – Mount the magnet holder 3 without magnet 4 with the screws 1 and 2 again. 3.3 List of assembly parts The following assembly parts have to be mounted: – 2 solenoid valves – Tension plate – Thread tension – Hoses and cables 8 1 2 3 4 5

Tension plate and thread tension

– Fasten the tension plate 1 with the screws 2 and 4 on the machine head. – Insert thread guide 3 and fasten with screw 6. – Remove the black key cap and replace it by key cap 5 (with symbol for the additional tension). 3.5 Solenoid valves – Mount the solenoid valves 7 and 8 in the corresponding fixtures at the valve block (see illustration). – Connect the pneumatic hoses with the tension plate. – Connect the electric connecting cables with the connection box.
