WARNING: READ CAREFULLY BEFORE INSTALLING FIXTURE. RETAIN THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE. CRITICAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS: • INSTALLATION SHOULD ONLY BE CONDUCTED BY A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN IN ACCORDANCE WITH NEC AND ANY RELEVANT LOCAL BUILDING CODES. • RISK OF FIRE OR ELECTRIC SHOCK. FIXTURE INSTALLATION REQUIRES KNOWLEDGE OF FIXTURE'S ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS. IF NOT QUALIFIED, CONTACT A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN. • BE CERTAIN ELECTRICAL POWER IS OFF BEFORE AND DURING INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE. • MAKE SURE THE SUPPLY VOLTAGE IS THE SAME AS THE FIXTURE'S RATED VOLTAGE. • TO PREVENT WIRING DAMAGE OR ABRASION, DO NOT EXPOSE WIRING TO EDGES OF SHEET METAL OR SHARP OBJECTS. SUITABLE FOR DAMP LOCATIONS. WARNING: USER SHOULD BE TRAINED IN THE PROPER USE AND MAINTENANCE OF THIS DEVICE. THIS LINE CORD IS INTENDED TO ALLOW OPERATORS TO EXTEND POWER TO EQUIPMENT WHEN STATIONARY OUTLETS ARE NOT READILY AVAILABLE. IMPROPER USE OF THIS CORD, PLUG, AND RECEPTACLE CAN LEAD TO SERIOUS INJURIES OR DEATH TO PERSONNEL. PERIODIC INSPECTION OF THE CORD IS NECESSARY. THE CORD MUST BE ROUTINELY CHECKED FOR CUTS, BREAKS, OR ANY SEVERE ABRASIONS, AND IF ANY ARE FOUND, THE CORD MUST BE REPLACED BEFORE RESUMING USE. The DCP-25-3XDP-6FT from Larson Electronics is a Waterproof Power Supply that converts commonly used 120 - 240 V AC electrical current to 12 V DC @ 25 Amps. This converter includes a typical straight blade plug on the input end and three 6' output whips terminated in 2-prong Deutsch connectors. This unit takes voltages within the 100-277 V AC range and reduces it to 12/24 V DC, allowing users to use standard AC power to operate equipment like our LED light bars and HID Golights that require low voltage DC current. WIRING Standard pigtail(flying leads) wiring We strongly encourage a licensed electrician install this product, in all locations especially in outdoor areas where weatherproofing may be required. Universal voltage driver permits operation at 100V - 277V AC, 50 or 60Hz except those factory ordered with low voltage 11V to 25V AC/DC. Warning: Check product label for correct input voltage! Attach supply line wires to the appropriate light fixture wires as shown in the diagram  Secure each pair of wires according to the diagram. Utilize a junction box or similar device and take precautionary steps for weatherproofing all connections if installed in a location where water may come in contact with the unit. Ensure the unit is properly grounded and that wiring is done according to all local and national electrical/building codes. Standard Cord Cap This unit comes pre-wired from factory with the selected cord cap. Take precautionary steps for weatherproofing all connections if installed in a location where water may come in contact with the unit. All outdoor installations and indoor installations near a wet location require the use of a GFCI device for safety, according to the National Electrical Code® (NEC). Ensure the unit is properly grounded.

This converter can operate with voltages 100-277VAC and converts it to low voltage, allowing users to use a high voltage DC power source to operate equipment like our LED and HID lights that require 12 volt DC current. Make sure power is turned off prior to wiring! Connect input lead to power source. Take all appropriate steps for waterproofing connections as necessary. Connect equipment to output side. The connected device(s) will power once the converter is energized. If not, check power source and connections. CAUTION: Keep enclosure cover closed at all times during operation. NOTE: In order to obtain the best performance and the longest operational life from these units, it is recommended that you do not exceed 75% of the unit’s output amperage. To determine if this converter suits your desired application, add together the total wattage of the equipment you intend to use with this unit and divide this total by 12 volts to find the total amperage draw that will be placed upon the converter. For example, if you are using two of our LEDP10W-120E 120 watt LED lights, 120 watts divided by 12 volts is 10 amps. This would mean the DCP-25-HD is well suited as it would run at under 75% capacity to produce the necessary 10 amps. Running these units at 100% of their capacity can create excess heat and lead to shortened converter life. *See product nameplate for exact voltage requirements. Low Voltage DC Connect power to power supply outputting low voltage between 9-42 Volts DC. This variable voltage allows greater versatility without affecting light output. Ensure deutsch connectors are properly connected (If applicable) DETACHABLE CORDS • Cord is attached via a weatherproof 2-pin Deutsch connector. • The cord is detachable by depressing the tab on the top of the connectors. This enables the operator to remove and store the light while leaving the cord connected to the power source. • Additional or replacement cords can be ordered from our website. Contact us or visit LarsonElectronics.com for more information. MAINTENANCE There are no serviceable parts inside the fixture. However, it is good practice to routinely clean and check the fixture for proper function. • Disconnect power running to the unit and be sure the fixture is cool to the touch. • Use a non-abrasive glass cleaning solution to clean the unit. USE AND CARE Unauthorized modification may impair the function and/or safety of this device and could affect the life of the equipment. Always check for damaged or worn out parts before using the device. Store it in a secure place out of the reach of children when not in use. Inspect for good working condition prior to storage and before re-use. REPLACEMENT PARTS The DCP-25-3XDP-6FT is designed to provide years of reliable performance. Should the need for replacement parts arise, please contact Larson Electronics.
