SERVO 260 A M P L I F I E R POWER The Servo 260 power amplifier is designed for fixed installations, recording and live performance use. Easily installed, this compact, 2-space rack-mount stereo power amplifier delivers 130 watts per channel into a 4 ohm load, over a bandwidth of 20 Hz to 50 kHz. The 260 features high-current output power transistors with a bipolar design and servo circuitry that continuously keeps DC output during idling at or near 0 volts. It also features balanced 1/4" Tip-Ring-Sleeve inputs as well as push-spring terminal outputs, front-panel clip, idle and protection lights and thermal and overcurrent protec- tion circuitry. The Servo 260 is convection cooled for silent operation, eliminating both fan noise and the need for filter maintenance. SPECIFICATION The power amplifier, being of two channels, shall deliver a minimum of 90 W into loads of 8 ohms each with both channels operating, or 130 W into loads of 4 ohms each with both channels operating. It shall be passively cooled, and shall have internal short-circuit and thermal protection circuitry. A protection LED indicator shall acti- vate and the power amplifier shall shut down to protect against short circuits, overheating, severe overcurrent con- ditions or DC offset present at the outputs. The power amplifier shall have slow start-up and muted inputs on turn- on. Inputs shall be on balanced 1/4″ Tip-Ring-Sleeve con- nectors and outputs shall be on 1/4″ phone connectors and on push-spring terminals. The front panel shall have indepen- dent level controls for left and right channels, a master power switch and LED indicators for Clip, Idle and amplifier pro- tection. The power amplifier shall have a frequency response of 20 Hz to 50 kHz, signal-to-noise equal to or greater than 103 dB and THD less than 0.03%. Total power consumed at full audio power shall be 490 W (115 Vac) and 490 W (230/240 Vac). The dimensions shall allow for standard 19″ EIA rack mounting.
