These inks offer high-speed printing as well as the long durability of the Supreme series. • XL400 Supreme inks are 8 colors of pigmented solvent ink formulated especially for lower maintenance and better image quality, especially in solid areas. Although not as fast drying as the XL300 Supreme inks, the XL400 inks provide better throughput, since the maintenance (purging) time is reduced significantly (from once every 60-90 seconds to about once every 500 seconds). The ink’s durability is, of course, like all other Supreme inks. • DS100 Specialty Textile inks are 8 colors of dye sublimation solvent ink designed especially for textile printing. These inks can print on a variety of Polyester textile media, through a dual-process printing (printing on a transfer paper on the printer followed by heat transfer to the textile media on a dedicated transfer machine). This ink is used on the XL1500 DS printer (with dyesub upgrade) and is switchable with the standard pigmented ink.
