through loop of adjustor strap thread "free" end of belt through the first slot of the 2-Slot slider once again B :TOTHREADADJUSTOR BELT 1. Insert "free" end of shoulder strap from underneath right hand side of the EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETYSEATthrough slot in seat. Pull through until 2-Slot slider touches the bottom of the seat. 2. Thread "free" end of shoulder strap through right hand buckle mechanism from underneath buckle through to top. Insert strap through desired right side shoulder slot (according to height of child's shoulders)(Diagram 8) 3. Thread "free" end of shoulder strap , thread through left hand side shoulder slot from rear through to front of seat. (Diagram 9) 4. Thread through left side of buckle mechanism from top to bottom, insert through left hand side slot on bottom of the EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETYSEAT(Diagram10). 5. Push belt underneath bottom of chair between seat and reclining mechanism and thread the belt through the 2-Slot slider (Diagram 11). 6. In order to ensure the belt is secure, (Diagram 12). 1. Adjust the EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETYSEATto the sleeping position. Push the adjustor strap (small belt) between the shell and the base towards the front of the chair.Thread the adjustor belt through the 2-Slot slider of the crotch strap towards the top of the EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETY SEAT (Diagram 13).Thread the adjustor strap through the adjustor buckle and pull through(Diagram 14). Once you have selected the correct shoulder height and re-thread the belts, the belt can be adjusted by a simple adjustment of the adjustor belt in front (Diagram 14). Push the "adjustor buckle" and pull the harness to tighten or pull on the harness to loosen. You should be able to comfortably fit your hand beneath the harness for an ideal fit with child strapped in the EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETY SEAT. The "adjustor buckle" holds the harness in a fixed position. To remove the headrest, disengage the locking clip situated at the back of the EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETY SEAT, where the headrest support legs slot into the backrest (Diagram 15).You can now pull the headrest out. To fit the headrest, simply slide the headrest support legs into the eyelets situated at the top of the EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETY SEAT's cover and into the holes in the backrest. Push the headrest down as far as possible. Replace the locking clip, making sure that it engages. All parts of the EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETYSEATcan be cleaned with mild cleaning agents. Should you wish to remove the cover, the harness can be removed as follows : 1. Unbuckle the harness and separate the shoulder belt from the 2-Slot slider at the bottom of the EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETYSEAT. 2. Slide the entire strap free. 3. Remove cover. 4. The cover can be washed in luke warm water with a mild detergent. Do not tumble dry or use any solvents. To replace the harness on the EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETYSEAT refer to . 1. Ensure that the EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETYSEATBELTS and the vehicle safety belts are in optimum condition before use. Ensure that all belts are tightly fastened. 3. Ensure that the EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETYSEATis fastened in the vehicle even when not in use. 4. Never leave a child unattended in the EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETY SEAT. 5. Do not use the EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETYSEATif it has previously been involved in a collision. 6. Never leave heavy objects on the rear parcel shelf, they could injure your child if you brake sharply. 7. Ensure that your child does not accidentally unfasten the safety belt while playing. 8. Do not use the EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETYSEATfor children weighing more than 18 kg. 9. The seat cover or belts should not be replaced with any other than the one recommended by the manufacturer as they constitute an integral part of the restraints' performance. 10. Do not use the EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETYSEATwith a 2-Point safety belt. 11. The EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETYSEATwhen used as a GROUP0 “rearward facing" must not be used in the front passenger seat where the vehicle is equipped with a passenger seat air bag. 12. Ensure that if the EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETYSEAThas been exposed to direct sunlight, no part of it has become excessively hot. 13. The buckle has been purposely designed to provide a quick release. In the event of an emergency, it may be necessary for a person unfamiliar with the equipment to release the child in seconds.The buckle has been designed therefore, so that even a child can undo it.This means the buckle is not tamper proof.The child transported in the safety seat should be disciplined to not play with the buckle while the harness is in use. 14. GROUP0 0 - 10 kg GROUP1 10 - 18 kg When used as a Group 0 safety seat, i.e. when your infants mass is under 10 kg, the EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETY SEAT can be used either in the front or rear of the vehicle using a 3-POINT SEAT BELT. Please note that if the vehicle is equipped with a PASSENGER SEATAIR BAG, the EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETY SEAT must only be used in the rear seats. The EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETY SEAT must not be fitted in the middle of the rear seat if it is only equipped with a 2-POINT SEAT BELT (Lap belt). 1. Adjust the EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETY SEAT to the sleeping position (See "How to adjust reclining positions" (Diagram 5)). The EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETYSEATshould be fully reclined to ensure appropriate support. It is not necessary to install the headrest when in this position. 2. Fasten the seat belt in the seat where the EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETY SEATwill be used. 3. Place the EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETYSEATin a rearward facing position. 4. Lift the lap part of the belt (horizontal belt) through the gaps on the base. Slip the lap part of the belt on each side over the protruding base (Diagram 1). 5. Pull the diagonal strap of the safety belt as far out as is needed to place it behind the EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETYSEAT's backrest. The strap must be fitted into the belt guide bracket mounted in the middle, on the back, at the rear of the EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETY SEAT. (Diagrams 1 & 2) 6. Your EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETYSEATis now secured.To tighten the seat belt as much as possible, push the EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETY SEATdown into the vehicle seat.Adjust the vehicle seat belt accordingly. Make sure that the belt is adjusted tightly. It is quite normal for the safety belt of the vehicle to have some play after tensioning. When the child's mass exceeds 10 kg, it may now be transported facing forward. In this position the EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETY SEAT should be placed on the rear seat of the vehicle. The EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETY SEAT can only be used with a 3-Point seat belt. The EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETYSEATmust not be fitted in the middle of the rear seat if it is only equipped with a 2-Point seat belt (Lap belt). 1. Fasten the seat belt in the seat where the EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETY SEATwill be used. 2. Place the EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETYSEATon the rear seat of the vehicle in a forward facing position. 3. Lift the lap part of the belt (horizontal belt) through the gaps in the base.Slip the lap part of the belt on each side over the protruding base. (Diagram 3) 4. Pull the diagonal strap of the safety belt as far out as is needed to place it behind the EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETYSEAT's backrest. Once the EXECUTIVE SAFETY SEAT is fastened in the vehicle with the safety belt, pull the safety belt as tight as possible and then place and fasten the RED SAFETY CLIP on the shoulder belt strap directly above the buckle to ensure stability of the EXECUTIVE SAFETYSEAT. (Diagram 4) The EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETY SEAT features 5 different reclining positions, from seated to fully reclined. The EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETY SEAT's position can be changed by simply pulling the red lever in the centre underneath the seat and adjusting the EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETYSEATup or down. By releasing the lever, the seat locks automatically in the desired position (Diagram 5). 1. Interlock the buckle parts attached to the shoulder straps so that they form one unit (Diagram 6). 2. Fit both parts into the buckle housing which is attached to the crotch strap (Diagram 7). 3. Press until engagement " " is heard, and ensure all parts are secured. 4. To release the buckle press the RED RELEASE BUTTON on the buckle. In order to change the shoulder height adjustment, select the slots in the EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETY SEAT which are the correct height just above your child's shoulders. If a change of height is necessary, unfasten the harness and separate the belts from the EXECUTIVE CAR SAFETYSEAT.
