Doing so may cause an electric shock. On power sources If you are not going to use the system for a long time, be sure to disconnect the system from the wall outlet. To disconnect the AC power cord (mains lead), grasp the plug itself; never pull the cord. On placement • Place the system in a location with adequate ventilation to prevent heat build-up in the system. • Although the system heats up during operation, this is not a malfunction. If you continuously use this system at a large volume, the cabinet temperature of the top, side and bottom rises considerably. To avoid burning yourself, do not touch the cabinet. • Do not place the system on a soft surface (rugs, blankets, etc.) that might block the ventilation holes. • Do not install the system near heat sources such as radiators, air ducts, or in a place subject to direct sunlight, excessive dust, mechanical vibration, or shock. • Do not install the system in an inclined position. It is designed to be operated in a horizontal position only. • Keep the system and discs away from components with strong magnets, such as microwave ovens, or large loudspeakers. • Do not place heavy objects on the system.

On operation If the system is brought directly from a cold to a warm location, or is placed in a very damp room, moisture may condense on the lenses inside the main unit. Should this occur, the system may not operate properly. In this case, remove the disc and leave the system turned on for about half an hour until the moisture evaporates. On adjusting volume Do not turn up the volume while listening to a section with very low level inputs or no audio signals. If you do, the speakers may be damaged when a peak level section is suddenly played. On cleaning Clean the cabinet, panel, and controls with a soft cloth slightly moistened with a mild detergent solution. Do not use any type of abrasive pad, scouring powder or solvent such as alcohol or benzine. On cleaning discs, disc/lens cleaners Do not use cleaning discs or disc/lens cleaners (including wet or spray types). These may cause the apparatus to malfunction. On replacement of parts In the events that this system is repaired, repaired parts may be retained for reuse or recycling purposes. On your TV’s color If the speakers cause the color irregularity on your TV screen, turn off the TV then turn it on after 15 to 30 minutes. If color irregularity persist, place the speakers further away from the TV set. On moving the system Before moving the system, make sure that there is no disc inserted, and disconnect the AC power cord (mains lead) from the wall outlet (mains). On Bluetooth communication • Bluetooth devices should be used within approximately 10 meters (unobstructed distance) of each other. The effective communication range may become shorter under the following conditions. – When a person, metal object, wall or other obstruction is between the devices with a Bluetooth connection – Locations where a wireless LAN is installed – Around microwave ovens that are in use – Locations where other electromagnetic waves occur IMPORTANT NOTICE Caution: This system is capable of holding a still video image or on-screen display image on your TV screen indefinitely. If you leave the still video image or on-screen display image displayed on your TV for an extended period of time, you risk permanent damage to your TV screen. Plasma display panel televisions and projection televisions are especially susceptible to this.

If you have any questions or problems concerning your system, please consult your nearest Sony dealer. Notes about Discs On handling discs • To keep the disc clean, handle the disc by its edge. Do not touch the surface. • Do not stick paper or tape on the disc. • Do not expose the disc to direct sunlight or heat sources such as hot air ducts, or leave it in a car parked in direct sunlight as the temperature may rise considerably inside the car. • After playing, store the disc in its case.

Wenn Sie das System andauernd bei hoher Lautstärke verwenden, steigt die Gehäusetemperatur an der Ober- und Unterseite und an den Seiten stark an. Andernfalls könnte es zu Fehlfunktionen der medizinischen Geräte kommen. • Wenn Sie einen Herzschrittmacher oder ein anderes medizinisches Gerät verwenden, fragen Sie erst Ihren Arzt oder den Hersteller Ihres medizinischen Geräts, bevor Sie die WLAN-Funktion verwenden. Info zum Betrieb Wenn das System direkt von einem kalten Ort an einen warmen Ort gebracht oder an einem sehr feuchten Raum aufgestellt wird, kann sich Feuchtigkeit an den Linsen im Inneren des Hauptgeräts ablagern. Lautstärke Drehen Sie nicht den Ton lauter, wenn Sie einen Abschnitt mit sehr leisen Tönen oder ganz ohne Audiosignal anhören. Anderenfalls können die Lautsprecher beschädigt werden, wenn plötzlich ein Abschnitt mit einem Spitzenpegel wiedergegeben wird. Info zur Reinigung Reinigen Sie Gehäuse, Bedientafel und Bedienelemente mit einem weichen Tuch, das Sie leicht mit einer milden Reinigungslösung angefeuchtet haben. Verwenden Sie keine Scheuerschwämme, Scheuermittel oder Lösungsmittel wie Alkohol oder Benzin. Info zu Reinigungsdiscs und Disc-/Linsenreinigern Verwenden Sie keine Reinigungsdiscs oder Disc-/Linsenreiniger (auch keine benetzten oder besprühten Typen). Andernfalls könnte es zu Fehlfunktionen des Geräts kommen. Info zum Austauschen von Teilen Sollte dieses System repariert werden, können die reparierten Teile einbehalten werden, um sie wiederzuverwenden oder zu recyceln. Info zur Farbe Ihres Fernsehgeräts Falls die Lautsprecher Farbunregelmäßigkeiten auf Ihrem Fernsehschirm verursachen, schalten Sie das Fernsehgerät aus und dann nach 15 bis 30 Minuten wieder an. Sind die Farbunregelmäßigkeiten hartnäckig, stellen Sie die Lautsprecher weiter vom Fernsehgerät entfernt auf. Der effektive Kommunikationsbereich kann unter folgenden Bedingungen kürzer werden: – Wenn sich eine Person, ein Metallgegenstand, eine Wand oder ein anderes Hindernis zwischen den Geräten mit Bluetooth-Verbindung befindet – Orte, an denen ein WLAN installiert ist – In der Nähe von in Betrieb befindlichen Mikrowellenherden – Orte, an denen andere elektromagnetische Wellen vorkommen WICHTIGER HINWEIS Vorsicht: Dieses System kann ein Videostandbild oder On-Screen- Displaybild unbegrenzt lange auf Ihrem Fernsehschirm anzeigen. Falls Sie das Videostandbild oder das On-Screen- Displaybild für längere Zeit auf Ihrem Fernsehgerät anzeigen, riskieren Sie eine dauerhafte Beschädigung Ihres Fernsehschirms. Info zum Umgang mit Discs • Um die Disc sauber zu halten, fassen Sie sie am Rand an. Berühren Sie nicht die Oberfläche. • Kleben Sie kein Papier oder Klebeband auf die Disc. • Setzen Sie die Disc keinem direkten Sonnenlicht oder Wärmequellen, wie z. B. heißen Lüftungskanälen, aus, und lassen Sie sie auch nicht in einem in der direkten Sonne geparkten Auto liegen, da die Temperatur im Auto erheblich steigen kann. • Bewahren Sie die Disc nach der Wiedergabe in ihrer Hülle auf. Info zur Reinigung • Reinigen Sie die Disc vor der Wiedergabe mit einem Reinigungstuch. Wischen Sie die Disc von der Mitte zum Rand hin ab. • Verwenden Sie keine Lösungsmittel, wie z. B. Benzin, Verdünnung, handelsübliche Reinigungsmittel oder Antistatiksprays für Vinyl-LPs. Dieses System kann lediglich standardmäßige runde Discs wiedergeben. Bei Verwendung nicht standardmäßiger oder anders geformter Discs (z. B. karten-, herz- oder sternförmiger Discs) kann es zu Fehlfunktionen kommen. Verwenden Sie keine Discs, auf denen handelsübliche Accessoires angebracht sind, wie z. B. Etiketten oder Ringe.

Plaatsing • Zet het systeem in een ruimte neer met voldoende ventilatie om warmtevorming in het systeem te voorkomen. • Het systeem kan tijdens gebruik warm worden. Dit duidt niet op een storing. Als u dit systeem doorlopend met hoog volume gebruikt, kunnen de boven-, zij- en onderpanelen van de behuizing na verloop van tijd heet worden. Raak de behuizing niet aan. U kunt zichzelf branden. • Plaats het systeem niet op een zacht oppervlak (tapijten, dekens, enz.) die de ventilatieopeningen kunnen afdekken. • Installeer het systeem niet in de buurt van warmtebronnen zoals radiatoren, luchtkanalen of op een plaats waar het bloot staat aan direct zonlicht, overmatige stof, mechanische trillingen of schokken. • Installeer het systeem niet in een schuine positie. Het systeem is alleen ontworpen om in een horizontale positie bediend te worden.

Werking Als het systeem van een koude naar een warme locatie wordt verplaatst of in een ruimte wordt geplaatst met veel stoom, kan het vocht op de lenzen in de hoofdunit condenseren. Als dit zich voordoet, kan het zijn dat het systeem niet correct werkt. In dit geval dient u de disc te verwijderen en het systeem ongeveer een half uur ingeschakeld te laten totdat het vocht verdampt is. Het volume instellen Zet het volume niet omhoog tijdens het luisteren naar een gedeelte met een zeer laag ingangsniveau of geen audiosignalen. Als u het volume toch omhoog zet, kunnen de luidsprekers beschadigen als plotseling een piekniveau wordt afgespeeld. Reiniging Reinig de behuizing, het voorpaneel en de bedieningselementen met een zachte doek die licht is bevochtigd met een mild zeepsopje. Gebruik geen schuursponsje, schuurpoeder of oplosmiddelen, zoals alcohol of benzine. Reinigers voor discs en lenzen Gebruik geen reinigingsdiscs of disc/ lensreinigers (inclusief natte of sproeitypes). Deze producten kunnen voor een storing van het apparaat zorgen. Onderdelen vervangen In de gevallen dat het systeem gerepareerd is, kunnen de gerepareerde onderdelen bewaard worden voor hergebruik of recycledoeleinden. De kleuren van uw televisie Als de luidsprekers kleuronregelmatigheden op uw televisiescherm veroorzaken, dient u de televisie uit te schakelen en na 15 tot 30 minuten weer in te schakelen. Als de kleuronregelmatigheid aanhoudt, dient u de luidsprekers verder uit de buurt van de televisie te plaatsen. Het systeem verplaatsen Vóór het verplaatsen van het systeem dient u ervoor te zorgen dat er geen disc in het systeem aanwezig is en het netsnoer uit het stopcontact verwijderd is. BELANGRIJKE OPMERKING Let op: Dit systeem kan een stilstaand videobeeld of beeldschermafbeelding op uw televisie onbeperkt bevriezen. Als het stilstaand videobeeld of de beeldschermafbeelding gedurende een langere tijdsperiode op uw televisie wordt weergegeven, kan uw televisiescherm permanent beschadigen. Plasmaschermen en projectietelevisies zijn hier zeer gevoelig voor.

discs Het gebruik van discs • Om de discs schoon te houden, dient u de discs aan de rand vast te houden. Raak het oppervlak niet aan. • Plak geen papier of plakband op de disc. • Stel de disc niet bloot aan direct zonlicht of warmtebronnen zoals hete luchtkanalen en laat de disc niet in de auto achter die in de zon geparkeerd is, omdat de temperatuur in de auto aanzienlijk kan stijgen. • Plaats de disc na gebruik in een opbergmap. Reiniging • Reinig de disc met een reinigingsdoek voordat u de disc afspeelt. Veeg de disc schoon vanaf het midden naar buiten. • Gebruik geen oplosmiddelen zoals benzine, thinner, commercieel verkrijgbare reinigers of antistatische spray die bedoeld is voor LP's van vinyl.
