screwdriver, release
the tabs that hold the
cover.
Caution: Do not use a
screwdriver to separate
the case.

Use the Macintosh pull-
apart tool to separate and
remove the cover.

Remove the grounding
screw.

Disconnect the following
cable connectors:
• Power supply cable
• Hard disk cable
• Fan cable
• Interface cable

Remove the four
mounting screws.

Lift out the controller
board.

With the power supply,
hard drive, and fan still
attached, lift out the
bottom shield.
