Daily cleaning Schaerer Coffee Art Plus / CS To release milk system: ► Press the [ ] button. To block milk system: ► Press the [ ] button. ► Place the cleaning container into the refrig­ erator 1 and leave the door open.. ► Place the hose 2 in the cleaning container. ► Press the [ ] button. Cleaning is running! (duration: refer to display) Wait, until the display shows: remove cleaning agent ► Remove and rinse the cleaning container. ► Confirm using the [ ] button. The display shows: milk system on off The display shows: cleaning program cleaning agent ► Remove and clean the milk container. ► Fill the cleaning agent into the cleaning con­ tainer. Dosage: Daypure: 100 ml Water: added by the machine! With DECAF cover detection: ► Open DECAF cover. ► Insert one cleaning tablet within 15 seconds. ► Close DECAF cover. Without DECAF cover detection: ► Insert one cleaning tablet. ► Press the [ ] button. The display shows: cleaning program hot water rinsing ► Place a container under the steam wand. ► Press the [ ] button to start the rinsing. Attention Hot steam! Machines with steam; with activated steam boiler rinsing: ► Continue with step 3 . If no milk products were dispensed: Cleaning is running! (duration: re- fer to display) ► Continue with step 6 after the cleaning. Machines without steam; with deactivated steam boiler rinsing: ► Continue with step 4 . 1 3 6 ► Press and hold the [ ] button (± 4 se­ conds). The display shows: cleaning program remove container ► Pull out the grounds container within 5 se­ conds and clean it. ► Clean the brew area with the brush. ► Place the grounds container back. Coffee Art Plus Daily Cleaning Instructions 1. Use only Schaerer cleaning supplies for this procedure. 4. Submerge steam wand into steaming pitcher and press the LATTE STEAM but- ton to heat solution. After steam wand shuts off automatically then let it soak for 5 minutes. While steam wand is soaking, continue to next step. 2. Fill large steaming pitcher with 16oz of water and mix in (1oz/30ml) Schaerer Steam Wand Cleaner. 3. Point steam wand toward drip tray. Press the button 1 to purge steam wand. If grounds bin is not removed within 6 seconds, the machine will return to normal operating mode. If this hap- pens, repeat step 5. While steam wand is soaking, press and hold the button until display reads “cleaning program empty gr. container.” Immediately remove grounds bin within 6 seconds. Empty coffee grounds into trash can. Wash, rinse, sanitize bin and set aside.
