57 15. MAINTENANCE Routine cleaning of the Lambda SC system is required to prevent excessive dust accumulations – wipe all exterior surfaces with a dry, soft, cotton cloth. All retaining rings should be inspected occasionally to be certain that they are seated into the filter holders and cups. NOTE: The SmartShutter is a precision-machined part, mounted on a stepper motor shaft. As such, it DOES NOT REQUIRE LUBRICATION.
