General information The Ventero-868 is a wireless-operated wind control device for your awning. Integrated solar cells enable autonomous function of the device. Radio signals (frequency 868.3 MHz) are transmitted between the Ventero-868 and the motor. The awning can be operated manually via a manual/wall transmitter. Safety instructions Device function The wind speed is measured at intervals and compared with the set value. Wind value above set value → Awning retracts or remains retracted and is blocked for around 15 min. (red LED flashes) The wind function is always active. However, in the event of a wind alarm, the keys are disabled for 15 minutes. Charging the Ventero-868 The Ventero-868 is supplied in discharged condition. 1. Prior to commissioning, load the Ventero-868 for at least minimum 30 minutes under a lamp or press the travel key for at least 1 minute. Advice: the travel keys have two settings. Otherwise, light entry is limited and shortens functioning time. Fault Cause Remedy • Awning retracts automatically • No travel com- mand can be issued via the manual trans- mitter • Awning does not retract in windy conditions • Receiver does not accept Ventero-868 • Wind alarm • Ventero-868 is not char- ged • Poor radio connection • Wind alarm is active • Battery in the manual transmitter is dead • Motor has no power supply or is overheated • Wind threshold value is set incorrectly • Wind vane is faulty • Ventero-868 is already programmed • Wait for wind interlock to be deactivated (15 min.) or briefly interrupt power supply. • Charge Ventero-868 • Change position of Ventero-868 • Wait (15 minutes) • Change battery • Check voltage • Set correct value • Delete Ventero-868 Important! The Ventero-868 only operates in combination with radio receivers from the elero ProLine-868 radio system. Caution Up- or downwinds blowing against façades may cause destruction of equipment. The Ventero-868 is not able to recognise these. Please pay attention to this advice when choosing your mounting position. 20 We reserve the right to make technical changes elero GmbH Antriebstechnik Linsenhofer Straße 65 D-72660 Beuren Fon: +49 7025 13-01 Fax: +49 7025 13-212 [email protected] www.elero.com EC DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY We hereby declare that the following mentioned product/s meet/s the standards of the European Community.
