Installation Instructions  Attach the dampers [6] to the inside of the windshield inner and outer brackets as shown. 8 mm (0.31 in) [A] 7 mm (0.28 in) [B] 30 mm (1.2 in) [C]  Remove the bolts [A].  Pull the headlight unit [A] up to install the left inner bracket [1]. ...

 Position the windshield inner bracket [1] and windshield outer bracket [3] so that the “L” or “R” marks are positioned upright as shown. NOTE  The left brackets have a “L” mark and the right brackets have a “R” mark.  Set the windshield bracket to match its mating surface [A] to the surface [B] of turn signal bracket.  Install the windshield inner bracket and windshield outer bracket with the bracket bolts [5].  Tighten the bracket bolts in the order [1  4] as shown.  Make sure the windshield bracket to match its mating surface to the surface of turn signal bracket.
