This supplement illustrates the main fea- tures of the Fiat Panda Adventure, in ad- dition to providing some advice for use. For anything not dealt with, refer to the Owner Handbook in which this Supple- ment is enclosed. ABS SYSTEM The ABS system with this version is sup- plied as standard, and consists of: ❒EBD (Electronic Braking force Distrib- ution), which distributes the braking ac- tion between front and rear wheels; ❒MSR (Motor Schleppmomenten Regelung - Regulation of engine braking torque), that intervenes in the event of sudden changes of gear whilst driving (avoiding wheel blockage when decel- erating, upon releasing the accelerator), giving torque back to the engine, there- by avoiding excessive drag of the dri- ving wheels that, particularly in poor grip conditions, can lead to a loss of ve- hicle stability. WASHING THE CAR After using the vehicle off-road (with sig- nificant contact of wheels, bodywork, be- low-engine covers and underbody pro- tection), please remember that you should always wash it, cleaning the radiators care- fully (engine cooling and conditioner), the radiator fan, the wheels (rims and wheel- houses), the protection covers below the engine and underbody. This will help pre- serve correct radiator operation in addi- tion to ensuring good ventilation of the brake discs and perfect balance of the wheels. The hook should be fastened to the body avoiding any type of drilling and trimming of the rear bumpers that remains visible when the hook is removed. TRANSMISSION Gearbox Clutch Drive Keep your speed down when snow chains are fitted. Do not exceed 50 km/h. Avoid potholes, steps and pavements and also avoid driving long distances on roads not covered with snow in order to prevent damaging the car and the roadbed.
