How to re-subscribe the CS50, CS60 & CS55 headset to the charging base? NOTE: Before re-subscribing the system, make sure the IntelliStand switch (on the right side of the charging base) is in the "_" position and NOT the "=" position. To Re-Subscribe: The headset and the base unit are supplied subscribed to each other. However, if you wish to use a replacement headset with the base unit (or if you lose your connection to the base unit), then you must re-subscribe as follows: 1. Return the headset to the charging base. 2. Press and hold both the + and - buttons on the back of the charging base until the red light on the front of the base starts to flash. 3. Let go of both buttons. The red light should continue to flash. 4. Press the mute switch (black wheel on the top of the headset) straight down until a green light appears on the headset, then let go of the wheel, and the light should remain on the headset. 5. Disconnect the AC power adapter from the bottom of the base unit for 5 seconds, then reconnect it. 6. Resubscription is finished when the red light on the base is fully illuminated and the green light on the headset disappears. 7. Remove the headset from the charging base, and press the talk button. The headset and base should now be connected. 8. If this procedure does not resolve your issue to try a system reset.

TIPS FOR INSTALLING THE PLANTRONICS CS50 / CS55 WIRELESS HEADSET Introduction The Plantronics CS50 & CS55 Wireless Headset Systems are compatible for use with all 5501, 5001, 4001 & 3001* series audio consoles. (* Some 3001 consoles may have volume issues with the wireless headsets. Contact Finetech Tech Support at 877-236-0245 for guidance.) All 5501 consoles and versions 4 & 5 of the 5001 consoles have a telephone jack on the rear next to the matrix cable jack for use with the CS50 / CS55. All other consoles require the 5014 Wireless Interface Adapter. (DO NOT use the 5014 adapter on consoles that have the adapter built in.) Making the Connections to the CS50 / CS55 1. Connect the AC Power Adapter to the power jack on the bottom of the CS50 / CS55 base. 2. Connect the provided short handset cable between the bottom of the CS50 / CS55 base and either the back of the audio console or the 5014 Wireless Interface Adapter as appropriate. a. There are two handset jacks on the bottom of the CS50 / CS55 base; you must use the one with the complete picture of the telephone, not just the picture of the telephone handset. b. Use the smaller of the two jacks when connecting to the back of audio consoles that have a built in adapter. The larger RJ-45 jack connects to the audio matrix. c. The 5014 Wireless Interface Adapter, if required, plugs into the back of the audio console using the speaker/mic jacks. Remove the (4) screws & cover from the 5014 and feed the console ground wire through the slot in the side of the case. Use the provided screw to attach the 5014 case with the ground wire to the console chassis. Replace the 5014 cover. IMPORTANT: The screw must be used to secure the adapter to the console chassis to prevent intermittent connections. Initial Setup of the CS50 / CS55 1. There is a Configuration Dial on the left side of the CS50 / CS55 base – set this dial so that the number one “1” is facing to the right (front). 2. Set the Master Speak Volume (outgoing volume) located on the bottom of the CS50 / CS55 base to the “B” position. 3. Set the Master Listen Volume (incoming volume) located on the back of the CS50 / CS55 base to the number two “2” position. HFEA-OICS55 (110408) Page 1 of 2
